John, Pat and Chris praise God for answering our prayers for the 2nd suspect of the Boston Marathon bombing being captured before sundown. They continue to discuss the importance of forgiveness and our need to ask God to forgive us. When we look at some of the tragedies that have occurred in the United States in recent history; events like 9-11, Hurricane Sandy, and now the Boston Bombing many have responded with statements like we will we build back stronger and bigger or words like New Jersey is Strong and Boston is strong but what about us the church responding on our knee's. God has so blessed our country and has extended so much mercy to us we are walking blinded on the proverbial plank of mercy not knowing when our next step will be our last. The question is are wer going to cry out and appropriate the mercy of God to our lives or are we going to take God's mercy to us for granted and suffer the consequences.

Greg, John and Pat discuss recent developments in the Boston Marathon bombing were one suspect has been shot and killed and one is still being sought after. They discuss a recent interview given by the uncle of the two bombers. In this interview the uncle shares how he didn't have much of a relationship with the boys but does recall a time when they visited him and they said that they converted to Islam and were interested in Jihad. He told them to stay in school, go work, and do good, that this not what we came to this country for. They continue to discuss as more information is being released about the bombers that they were from Russia. They share how it was uncomfortable to hear leaders from other countries that have been adversarial towards America sharing their condolences including President Vladimir Putin from Russia. They continue to discuss, why did the President of United States who was running for reelection at the time have what appeared to be a 50 foot in size image of the Russian Navy fleet in the background of the Democratic National Convention? Was the President trying to send a signal to Russia? They also discussed President Obama's comment to then President Medvedev of Russia when he said something to the affect that to give him more time since he was in the middle of an election then he can be more flexible and Medvedev his heard saying I will transmit to Vladimir, meaning Putin. What is happening to America that even at the Democratic National Convention Americans and in particular Arab Americans at the convention publicly booed and denied God. Satan has a plan and he will use any willing party to do is evil bidding. In the Bible Russia is considered the bear and it seems as if the President is making friends with nations that want to do Israel and Christians harm.

Greg, John and Pat discuss Hitler's plans not only to kill Jews but Christians too. Hitler was a man like any other man just like Judas yet they allowed Satan to enter them. That same spirit that took over Hitler is now running rampant with Iran's leaders. They played a segment from CBN entitled, "God and Hitler"; in this segment they discuss how Hitler's speeches were filled with hope and referenced often the Bible and God. They share how he was an altar boy in the Catholic Church and allegedly at one point wanted to be a priest. Just because Hitler was a church member doesn't mean he was a Christian. The Catholic Church made a covenant with Hitler where he promised them religious freedom. He deceived them and said that Catholics and Protestants must vanish from our people. In 1942 Hitler banned the Bible and confiscated them and created his own state church where no pastors or clergy could speak only someone from the state. Bibles were replaced with a bible he printed removing the Ten Commandments and replacing them with 12 commandments of his own and he replaced the cross with a Swastika. Hitler even had a hymn written to glorify him where the school children would sing, Adolph Hitler is our God and Savior. They continue to discuss the same progressive agenda trying to take root right before our eyes here in the U. S. His whole goal was to de-Christianize the church; isn't that Satan's goal today?

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the recent explosion that occurred at a fertilizer plant in West Texas killing between 5 to 15 people and injuring 160. They continue to share about the video that is posted in the VFN Torch that shows a father with his daughter recording the blaze and then all of a sudden you can see the blast that nearly rocked them and seemed to move their vehicle causing the man's daughter to say that she can't hear. They express their condolences and pray for the victims and for those who are still missing.

John, Greg and Pat discuss how important it is to keep your eyes on God when He calls you to do something. Whatever God calls you to do, He will be the one to empower you to do it and bring it to pass, if we follow Him. If God want's you in a certain place He knows how to position you exactly for it. However, if we take our eyes off of God and put them on ourselves and begin to make happen what God said He was going to do then we are moving in pride. Abram and Sarai experienced this in Genesis 15 and 16. God told Abram that he was going to make his descendants as many as the sand on the seashore and as numerous as the stars in the sky. However, Abram's wife got ahead of God and thought how she could bring what God said to pass offering Abram her maidservant to conceive a child since the Lord had kept her from birthing any children. This act of self-focus and pride birthed Ishmael, a situation that we still have to face today. It does matter if you are the leader for you to lead and not submit what God is telling you to your wife or anyone else. God had mercy on Abraham. It does matters how we respond to what the Lord calls us to do. God's plans, God's ways, and God's timing = Success.

Greg, John and Pat discuss Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; and the righteous run into it and are safe." They encourage us that no matter what storms we are facing in our lives if we give our lives to Jesus we will be safe. God warns us so that we won't be harmed much like a father warns a child of impending danger. All we need to do is to respond to God and give our lives to him and live under the protection of his safety.

Greg, John and Pat discuss how important it is to think and to listen to others who don't necessarily have the same position on matters that you do. They continued to discuss how today everyone is in hurry and how technology is so advanced it doesn't lead to people really thinking through things because there is an app for that. They continue to encourage us not to push away from using our brains.

John, Greg, and Pat discuss the large infestation of snails that are invading South Florida. Reuters reports that this growing infestation of the world's most destructive invasive species can grow as big as a rat and gnaw through stucco. The snails attack over 500 species of plants and anything in their path and that is green. They eat stucco because of the calcium for their hard shells. These snails are already providing problems for residents by causing tires to blow out not to mention them being projectiles being launched by lawn mower blades. They continue to discuss that as bizarre as this sounds we cannot forget that we are not only seeing the infestation of snails but locusts that have swarmed Egypt causing traffic to come to a standstill. These type of occurrences occurred in the Bible and it was a sign for them to repent and turn back to God.
