John, Pat, and Chris discuss the will of God. They discuss in Luke 22 how Jesus prayed to the Father on the eve of the single most important event in history, Jesus' voluntary death on the cross for the sins of the world. Jesus asks the Father in verse 22 "If you are willing take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done. Jesus knew what lied ahead of him and he sought after the will of God. They continue to share that it is impossible to know the will of God apart of the Word of God. When we give our lives to the Lord we are also exchanging our will for His will, his good, pleasing, and perfect will. They continue to share 5 ways we can understand and surrender to the will of God for our lives.

John and Pat discuss from Luke 18 the rich young ruler that encountered Jesus. They share how the rich ruler asked Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. He shared with Jesus a list of the commandments he kept yet Jesus told him he still lacked one thing. In order to go on with Jesus you have to give up everything you can't hold on to anything that will get in the way of you following Jesus. What you let go of and what you hold on to will determine what you will get out of your walk with the Lord. Hold everything else loosely and hold on to Jesus tightly.

John, Pat, and Chris share our First lady Michelle Obama's most recent remarks about her family. Mrs. Obama responded to some criticism that she and the President don't socialize enough in Washington. Michelle was very clear that she and Presidents number one job is their family and with the pressures that come with the White House they prefer to spend whatever spare moment that have with their two girls. John, Pat, and Chris appreciate Mrs. Obama and the President's decision to put their families first over their career and encourage others to do the same.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss how Google conceded that they violated privacy of United States citizens when 38 States Attorney Generals took the company to court. According to the NY Times Google acknowledged that during its Street View mapping project they "casually" scooped up passwords, emails and other personal information form unsuspecting computer users. They continue to connect the dots between the importance of protecting our 4th Amendment right to privacy and the access companies and U.S. government has had to personal electronic data and information of U.S. citizens.

John, Pat, and Chris talk about the power of the laying on of hands and the power of impartation as a result. Although the Bible tells us this is an elementary teaching in Hebrews 6:1-3 much of the church is not discipled and need to be taught the tremendous blessing the Lord equips the saints with. One of the ways the Lord equips us and gives us access to transact "kingdom business" is through prayer. When we pray and lay hands on one another we are able to supernaturally impart, transfer what is on us to the person praying for. We can impart blessings, spiritual gifts, and healing. James 5:16 tells us that, " the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." It's time for the church to no longer wait for someone else to pray but to rise up in faith and pray for one another, laying on of hands and imparting life, blessing, and healing in Jesus' wonderful and glorious name.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss how we are only given one life to live. They discuss Psalm 39:4-5 where David cries out to God, "Show me, Lord my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure. Many people today are living aimlessly without direction and purpose. The Bible tells us that a wise man gives thought to his ways. Is what you are living for worth anything in the kingdom of God? Is there any eternal value to what you are doing with your life? They continue to challenge us to wake up and give our whole life to Jesus. For many it is takes tragedy and illness before they begin to truly live. Avoid tomorrow's regrets today. Imagine what would happen if you seized the day. Refuse to watch others go after God; go after God yourself like never before. Live a life that will produce the fruit you would be happy to present Jesus when you see Him.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss the recent pew research poll that says that 48% of surveyed gun owners purchased their guns for protection, while 32 % said they own a firearm mainly for hunting purposes. They continued to discuss how the Sheriff from Wisconsin encouraged his citizens to arm themselves and protect their families until the police arrive. They also discussed police from Detroit, California, and Camden NJ has warned their citizens that they were not able to provide them the safety and security they once were able to offer. All the while some politicians and President Obama's administration are seeking to make stricter gun laws infringing on 2nd Amendment rights. The rights of the American people should be protected rights given by God and recorded in the Constitution by our founding fathers.
