  • Who is "Jane Roe" in Roe V. Wade and what's her story?
John, Greg, and Pat discuss the story behind the case of Roe V Wade.
It has been 40 years since Roe vs. Wade which was a landmark court case that legalized abortions. Many are aware of this court case and many people are not familiar with the name of the woman who this case is all about. Henry Wade was the Dallas county District Attorney at the time.
The real name of Jane Roe is Norma Mcorvey.
Allegedly according to the Blaze she lied to the attorneys and told them she was raped. Although she fought for abortion rights McCorvey never actually had the procedure. At the time of her case she was on her third pregnancy, the case was decided after she gave birth.
For twenty years it is reported that she worked for the pro-choice movement. She worked in a clinic and right beside that clinic a pro-life group moved in next door called Operation Rescue. At the time she was extremely pro-choice, which is really pro-killing babies.
After some time she struck up a relationship with one of the Christian leaders and sometime later Nancy McCorvey accepted Jesus into her heart and was later baptized on national TV. She is reported as saying that she has felt very sad over her association with Roe v Wade and speaks on behalf of life. She wrote a book about her experience called Won by Love. Greg, John, and Pat continue to discuss how we all have sinned before we came to Christ and want to make things right in the sight of God and others. God has a pancake organizational chart which means we all have access to him, to receive his love and to receive his discipline. The ripping of the veil meant two things the kindness and sternness of God.

  • The LOVE of GOD
Greg, John and Pat discuss the love of God. We can love our God with all of our heart. However, our heart is deceitfully wicked. It's the understanding of God's love that helps us to love others. Part of being able to love God with all of our heart is to know how much He loves us.

They continue to share that the U.S. dollar has been going down. Many people will try to get all their money out of banks but they will not be able to because the money is out on loans.

  • Jesus is coming, Will you be ready?
John, Greg, and Pat discuss that Jesus is coming back, only the father knows when, and the real question is will you be ready, Matthew 24:36-42. The Bible tells us that no man knows the hour of Jesus' return; not angels, not even Jesus himself, only the Father. The Bible continues to warn us about false prophets. Many good natured people are trying to figure the day of the Lord's return but they encourage us to hang our hat on exactly what the Bible says. It will be just like the days of Noah. People will be marrying and carrying on life as normal and then the door will close without warning. That's why the Bible tells us to be on guard, to be on watch for his appearing not so we can witness it but so that we can be ready to go with him.

  • Vision Speaks
Greg, John, and Pat share about the importance of vision. When you have vision and you write it down others can actually run with it. Jacob showed us how just by putting sheep and goats in front of vision, they produce. Habakkuk 2:2 tells us "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it." It's time to imitate those who have gone before us.

  • The Right word at the Right Time
In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 25:11 Greg, John, and Pat discuss greatness of the right word at the right time. There is nothing sweeter, more refreshing, more encouraging than when we are in need of wisdom, help or direction and The Lord speaks an appropriate word of knowledge, of wisdom of prophesy. We can attest that God calls us do to things we cannot do without Him, without seeking Him and a word from Him to help us as we go. VFN, VFNtv & the Daily VFNRadio Program, Next Step Outback's, we just stepped out on the first word, but didn't know the next thing but as we went, trusting in God and He would speak word after word at every seemingly road block. Truly it's like apples of gold in settings of silver. These words were spoken to us directly, or by someone who was with us, or someone who God touched in their heart to speak it to us, but it was from the Lord. I want to encourage you to be the vessel of the one who speaks that word into someone's life at just the right time by abiding regularly with the Lord so that you are ready to receive and deliver that word. Many love to receive them, but few desire to be the one...so I want to encourage you to live your life to be the one who other's will feel your words are from the Lord and are like apples of gold in silver settings.

  • Gloating over the fall of your enemy?
In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 24:17-18,
"Don't gloat when your enemy falls; when he stumbles, do not let your heart rejoice, or The Lord will see and disapprove and turn His wrath away from him." First we learn that we can have enemies. Proverbs 25:21-22, Solomon Said "If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you." We are not to take revenge but allow God to judge and bring justice. Justice is best left in the hands of God who is just and the one who justifies. It's important to respond to our enemies as Jesus tells us to respond to them. Jesus tells us to love our enemies and to do good to those who mistreat us. In Romans 5:8 we learn, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Seeing how God loved us when we were His enemies we can see that Jesus is not asking us to do what He Himself hasn't demonstrated to us.

  • Two types of Wisdom; it matters which one you choose
Greg, John and Pat discuss the two types of wisdom and the importance of choosing the right one in your life. They continue to share that there is an earthly wisdom and a heavenly wisdom. When we give ourselves to earthly wisdom instead of heavenly wisdom we find all sorts of disorder in marriages, families, ministry, etc... Godly wisdom is pure, peaceful, considerate and submissive. We are going to have to trust God in people. We mustn't control people but allow the Holy Spirit to lead them. Allow people to leave you. Let go of the control. If you can't bring order into your life you need heavenly wisdom.
