  • Shooting at Lone Star College the new Norm?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the recent shooting at Lone Star College. Allegedly an argument prompted the shooting on the campus which resulted in three people being shot. They continue to share how they received a call from Pastor Khechara letting Greg know that she had received a phone call from someone she was ministering to that said the college was locked down because of a shooting and she was hiding in the closet. We began to pray for the safety of everyone on the campus. Many are talking today that shootings on campus are the new norm; it will be unless the church repents. What stops shooting attacks is when the church prays against the strategies of the enemy.

  • The Regrets of Living a Safe Life
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the regrets of living a safe life. Some time back people began to play it safe. They started living for the white picket fences, houses, and careers only. God has called us to live a life of faith and on the edge of obeying Him. We are called to take risks in the culture we live in for God. Americans in general are not willing to be inconvenienced at all even when it comes to children. Living a safe life will not end well at the throne room of God. We are called to be risk takers that believe God for more than just cars, homes and money we are called to believe God for HUMAN BEINGS. We must seize the opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of that opportunity and begin to ask ourselves, is what we are living for worth Jesus dying for?

  • Obedience: God's Love Language
Chris, Greg, Pat and John discuss God's love language, which is obedience. Chris shares that 1 John tells us that we know we have come to know God if we obey his commandments. His commands tell us who He is. He tells us in His word what we should not do and what we should do. We need to hide God's word in our heart so we won't sin. Salvation is free but it will cost you everything. Jesus made it clear in his word that if we are to love God we need to obey his word. Obedience is God's love language. If we claim to know Him, we must do as he did; be imitators of Christ.

  • Prophetic Warning: Spiritual Avalanche that could Kill Millions, says Steve Hill
Greg, John, and Pat discuss Steve Hill's prophetic word regarding the spiritual avalanche that could kill millions less the church repents and God's generals share the truth. The church needs to know the truth before they can share it. There is a big difference between the traditions of men and the traditions of God. One is a lie and one is the truth. When difficult times had come is when the church really began to pray. It's going to take a repentant and praying church that turns the tide.

  • Fasting Leads to Power the Power of God
Greg, John, and Pat share about how fasting leads to power especially as we have seen in the life and ministry of Jesus. Before Jesus performed miracles, healed the sick, and drove out demons Jesus spent 40 days fasting. He underwent great trial and struggle and had to overcome the temptations of Satan. However, when He completed the fast he began his ministry going into all the world. We need to follow the steps of Jesus and humble ourselves and entrust ourselves to God. We see this in the early church in the book of Acts which is not a historical book but more of an operations manual. Self-denial is essential for God to be glorified in our lives. First thing is to make Jesus the Lord of your life, be rightly related to his body the church, be discipled, abide with God and you will begin to see the power of God in your life.

  • One Man, One Torch for God; Shook a City
John, Greg, and Pat share about the Apostle Paul, one man, one torch for God who shook a city. Paul was faithful to preach the good news of the kingdom everywhere he was sent and the city of Ephesus was no different. So much so the silver smiths and craftsman in the area had to take note of Paul's ministry. They gathered together to discuss that Paul was leading so many people to the Lord in Ephesus and in the province of Asia that they were going to lose their business of creating shrines to a false God named Artemis. We have today everything that Paul had then. Jesus Christ lives in every believer and it is his power and glory that can be revealed through us. Paul shook an entire city for Jesus and became a torch for the gospel of the kingdom. He preached in the synagogues, he discipled believers and God did extraordinary miracles through Paul including healing the sick and delivering people of demons. The result was that a fear of God seized the city and Jesus' name was held in high honor and the word of the Lord continued to spread and grew in power. As Christians and followers of Jesus we can do the same and more in our cities because Jesus told us we can and because the hope of glory lives in inside of us.

  • The Day of Blessing and the Day of Disaster both from God?
Pat reminds us what Ecclesiastes 7:14 says, when times are good, be happy but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future. Pat, Greg, and John continue to share how the church is not ready although God has given so many warnings of what is to come. A storm is coming and is going to create a huge harvest of people. The question is, are we willing to lay down our lives for the harvest?

  • The Humilty of Jesus
Greg, John, and Pat share about the humility of Jesus. They share how Jesus entrusted what was going to be written about Him, His ministry, and salvation just to name a few to men who had unction of the Holy Spirit. Jesus didn't even testify about himself but allowed others to do it. Jesus did not self-promote himself and neither should we. Promotion comes from God and we can trust in due time if He wills, He will raise us up.

  • The Power of God; It separates the talkers from the walkers, those walking with God as Jesus did.
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the power of God and how it separates the mere talkers from the walkers, those walking as Jesus did. Jesus said "believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves" John 14:10. They continue to encourage us to mediate on God's word, abide, and ask God to show us evidence. Jesus was sent by the Father into the world and Jesus sends us his disciples into the world to preach the good news. "He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well." Mark 16:15-20. There is power in the gospel. If you are a believer preach the gospel and signs will accompany those who believe. Everyone Jesus raised from the dead eventually died, it's not about a person living forever it's about the demonstration of the power of God. Jesus lives in every believer; it's Christ in you, the hope of glory, Colossians 1:27. As Christians we are "glory" containers. We contain the glory of God in us but the glory of God and his kingdom advances when we allow God to release the glory and we preach the kingdom of God with others. Jesus' ministry was full of power; healing the sick, casting out demons, and performing miracles. Jesus said to his disciples in John 14:12 "I tell you the truth; anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." We have this treasure in jars of clay and it's only when we are weak that the Lord manifest his power through us. The Holy Spirit will guide you and lead you. The power of God separates mere talkers from walkers.
