John,Greg, and Pat share wisdom moment found in Proverbs 20:4 A sluggard does not plow in season; so at harvest time he looks but finds nothing. John shares how the sluggard is one who is habitually inactive and lazy. The sluggard fails to recognize that one can't reap a harvest if he has not done the work of tilling the ground first. They go on to share that seasons have some unique characteristics; they all have a beginning and an end, each season is unique from the other, and each season has its own condition that requires us to take notice so we can be effective in the season we find ourselves in. No matter what season you find yourself in if you expect a harvest you must be willing to invest and work at it because if you miss your season you will miss your harvest.

John and Greg share breaking new on VFNRadio when they share a report that came from the National Post regarding Hamas Gunmen executing six Israeli spies. It is reported that they allegedly shot all six of them and then tied one of the killed Israeli's and drug him through the city streets while on motorcycles. Greg and John immediately prayed for the victims and asked the Lord to protect any other Israeli's that may have been in Gaza. Greg and John both agreed and felt this act most probably signified extreme retaliation from Israel resulting in possible ground invasion.

Greg, John, and Pat share about a recent report from Fox News that "Hackers target Israel with millions of attacks as Hamas rockets continue to fall." They report the "international hacker collective Anonymous....said it mounted #OpIsrael to protest Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense against rocket attacks launched from the Gaza strip." Israel's computer division will continue to block the millions of cyber- attacks, says Finance Minister Yuval Stenitz. Greg, John, and Pat continue to share some news headlines that John Paul Jackson prophesied (received prophetically) of things that will come in the future, which could be today, tomorrow or in years to come. Greg, John, and Pat remind us that we are living in prophetic times and encourage us to practice living off the grid in terms of all the daily technology that exist today that is designed to function so seamlessly not requiring us to think. One of these prophetic headlines was "Cyber Attack Cripples Grid- Multiple Collapses with Restart Efforts. They continue to encourage us to abide, not with electronics but with printed bible and to journal with pen and paper. Other things talked about in this highlight are EMP; GPS; Agenda 21; and one world government.

Greg, John, and Pat share about how as people we can really be naïve at times. Naïve is the absence of experience, simplistic, green and or gullible. They continue to share that Eve, Adam's wife thought that she could talk her way out of the situation she was in and now Secretary of State Clinton is being sent to negotiate with Hamas, an organization bent on trying to annihilate Israel. There is no way you can negotiate with evil. There is only one way Jesus dealt with evil, he got rid of it. The church is doing the same thing stepping outside of God's authority and thinking, what's the big deal. We can only deal with evil when we are walking with Jesus. It's time for the Church to stand up for these are serious times and the world must know that when you mess with Israel you are messing with the apple of God's eye.

Greg, John, and Pat share encouragement with us as they discuss everything Jesus did for us; to relate to us and to save us from the reality of hell. They encourage us not to get discouraged by satan's attempts to either dumb down or totally try to do away with the important things that we need to know about, especially sin and hell. Jesus, because of his amazing love for us, not only spoke more about hell than any other topic but he also did something about it. He provided the way for us to avoid the judgment due us by giving us the choice to accept him and His finished work on the cross.

John, Pat, and Chris begin a discussion on the greatest responsibility of the church today, the Great Commission that Jesus gave and still gives his disciples today, found in Matthew 28:18-20. They continue to share about this labor of love, the church's charge and duty to tell the world about Jesus and to make disciples of all nations. They share regarding society today and how art and pop culture have determined how society views sin and hell. They are calling good things bad and bad things good. They continue to share a recent poll from George Barna that although 71 percent of Americans believe that a place like hell exist only half of one percent actually believe they are going there. Jesus said in John 8:32, "then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." It's important for us to remember it's the truth that we know. If we don't know about the realities of hell how will we know and how will we be able to share with others.

Every great harvest begins with the breaking and toiling of hard soil. Greg, John, and Pat share about the process involved to reap the harvest of a Third Great Awakening. Greg shares the process the soil must take before a harvest can be produced and likens it to the process that must take place in the heart and the soil of men for the Kingdom of God to grow. The kingdom of God; like a seed on hard soil, a hard heart produces nothing but neither does broken soil or a broken heart without the seed of the Kingdom of God. Both scenarios produce nothing. It's only through the perfect mixture of a broken and contrite heart and the planting of the seed of the Kingdom of God and water, through Jesus' teachings, that a harvest can begin to grow and the Kingdom of God can advance. We can participate in a move of God. We can all hunger for a move of God, but are you willing to suffer through brokenness to see this move of God come to our lives and to this nation? It starts with each of us taking personal responsibility and embracing humility and allowing God to go deep and break up any hard ground. The condition of the ground is what determines if the seed will actually take root. John and Pat continue to discuss sharing the gospel seeds with those whose heart is actually soft enough to embrace it and where there is an environment for it to grow. One of the teachings spoken of was: It's not over until God says it's Over.

John and Pat discuss the world's economy and how companies like Hostess, the proud makers of products we have come to know and love like Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and Wonder bread are looking to liquidate themselves since they can no longer make it through conventional chapter 11 bankruptcy's restructuring, according to the Detroit Free Press. One of the reasons given is because Hostess was unable to pay union workers salaries and allegedly the workers refused to take a pay cut. John and Pat continue to discuss this is a trend that has occurred even with the police departments of Detroit as well as Camden. They encourage us that no matter what the economy looks like that as believers we participate in God's economy if we are honoring the Lord with our tithes and offerings, according to Malachi 3:6-12. They encourage us to trust the Lord fully with our finances since he is the one who gives us the ability to gain wealth. They also share an account from 2Kings 6:24- 7:1-20 where during that time there was a great famine in the land where the price of a donkey's head cost 80 shekels and because people were starving a mother actually ate her own child. After some time EIisha the prophet shared a prophetic word," by this time tomorrow a seah of flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria." Elisha prophesized a total and complete change in the economy at that time. Where one day it took 80 shekels to by the head of a donkey, the next you could by a seah of flour for 1 shekel. A seah is equivalent to 5 quarts. The next day your money would be able to stretch and buy more. The truth is God is in control of everything including the economy. Operate in wisdom and the chief wise thing you can do is to honor the Lord with what belongs to him, His tithe. One of the teachings spoken of is Prudent Preparation.

Israel has a Right To Defend Itself

John, Pat, and Chris share regarding the recent escalation between Israel and Hamas as Hamas has launched more than 8,000 rockets into southern Israel since 2001 and nearly 800 of those rockets have come in 2012. They continue to share how there is presently support from some countries around the world including the United States and President Obama. However, they discuss how the President says he supports Israel but he also supports the Muslim Brotherhood who allegedly supports Hamas which is widely recognized by many countries as a terrorist organization. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been quoted as saying, "The world must understand that Israel will not sit idly against attempts to harm us. We are ready to intensify the reaction." John, Pat and Chris encourage us to continue to pray for the protection of the Jewish people in Israel and all over the world from all harm as well as praying for the salvation of the Jews.
