John, Pat, and Chris discuss one of the accounts in the Bible found in Luke 17:11-19 where Jesus healed ten lepers. These men had a skin disease that was highly contagious and as a result would require that the contaminated person(s) be quarantined and isolated so not to infect anyone else in the community. These men were desperate and when they saw Jesus on his way to a village they called out to him in a loud voice, "Jesus, master, have pity on us." Jesus told them what to do and their faith, in doing what God told them to do, made them well. They continue to discuss that faith without works, faith that doesn't move, is no faith at all. God requires that we live a life of faith trusting him for everything. They share some of their own experiences in where they had to trust God and have faith that moves. Faith moves them to do what God has called them to do.

Greg, Pat, and John speak of all the many prophetic words that are coming to pass. They discuss Israel's most recent need to defend itself from Hamas, allegedly the military strong arm of the Muslim Brotherhood. Israel has to defend itself because of this administration's alleged policies in the Middle East. Another prophetic word that was spoken of was, the United States being split because of wanting to divide Israel and suggesting that they go back to the 1967 border lines. Our recent election shows that America is divided about the course of our nation and the value of our constitution. We are now seeing as of this week, 34 states have filed petitions and gave signatures for their states to secede from the United States. Greg continue to share that he sees a huge shift taking place that started when our Secret Service, who has done a wonderful job protecting our Presidents, were publicly shamed. Now it looks like our decorated four star generals are being shamed. Greg continues to share a prophetic word where he was shown the weakening of our military and how it was being done. It was being done by the government spending into oblivion; it is a strategy that would allow the dismantling of the military for what would appear to be "legitimate" budgetary concerns. Some of the other things spoken about; President Woodrow Wilson; QE3; Thomas Friedman and The World is Flat; Radical Islam; Muslim Brotherhood; and digital data storage facilities

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 15:8 the Lord detest the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleased him. Some -times ones perception of reality is different from reality itself and one can be confused to think that God is okay with the wicked making ,"sacrifice" religious acts to and for God all the while they don't know God/Jesus, as their Lord and savior. What pleases God are the prayers of those who know him and accept him as Lord. He doesn't turn a deaf ear to anyone; however we can't live a life that is wicked and expect to be heard. It's better for us to obey God and submit to him first by accepting his son Jesus as our savior so that our worship to God can be accepted by God.

John, Pat, and Chris share how many today are seeking but they pose a question what are they seeking for? Some seek money, fame, luxury, a name, status, relationships, love, houses, stuff, but who is seeking God. They continue to share that the Bible says, it is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings Proverbs 25:2. They encourage us to seek God and not his hand to make seeking God the one thing we do, not to be distracted with anything that would pull us away from our pursuit of seeking Him.

In Matthew 12:25 Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined and every city or household divided against itself will not stand." Jesus speaks plainly about the importance of unity in this verse of scripture without even mentioning the word. What he does mention is the word that comes against unity and that is division. Many today are divided in their families, marriages, cities, and nation and at times even in the church. John and Pat remind us not to be ignorant of the enemy's lies and schemes to bring in a wedge to divide. He uses tools like offense, pride, jealousy, and envy to do his dirty work. They continue to share that our focal point for unity should always be humility, forgiveness, and love.

Proverbs 21:1 says, the Kings heart is in the hand of the Lord; he directs it like a watercourse, wherever he pleases and that is so true especially during the reign of the kings Israel. Pat shares from 2 chronicles 36:11-23, that after many warnings from Jeremiah to King Zedekiah to turn to God and his ultimate refusal it resulted in the Israelites going into captivity. After 70 years of captivity God moves on the heart of a pagan King, King Cyrus to finance the rebuilding of the temple. Why, because God wanted to make a way for his people to worship him. He was extending them another chance. Ultimately when it comes to God's plan for his people it doesn't matter who is the King or the person in governmental office. God has a way of making his will come to pass. God is in control.

John, Pat and Chris share about Israel's most recent strike killing Ahmed Al Jabari, allegedly the head of the military wing of Hamas, according to CBN. Israel's attack was in retaliation for Hamas' more than 100 rocket attacks into southern Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Today we relayed a clear message to the Hamas organization and other terrorist organizations. And if there is a need, the IDF (Israel Defense Force) is prepared to broaden the operation. We will continue to do everything in order to protect our citizens." John continues to share that according to Israel Defense Blog more than a half of a million Israelis have less than 60 seconds to find shelter after a rocket is launched from Gaza into Israel. In fact at least 822 rockets have been fired into Israel this year, an increase from the 651 rockets that that were fired last year, according to Israel Defense blog. They also discussed and explain what, "JJ", Jesus and Jews, means when they refer to the Islam religion and Muslims who follow the Koran. In this segment Greg recounts a conversation he had with John Stemberger in which he tells Greg what his friend explained to him in regards to Muslims in America, saying, "That there are radical Muslims, then there are moderate Muslims and Muslims who do not know the Koran at all." "Radical" means you read, believe, and then do what the Koran says. Christians preaching that Jesus, the Son of God, is the only way to God and that is seen as adversarial to the Koran where Mohamed writes that Jesus is not the Son of God and that He will have to come back and repent for calling Himself the Son of God. A moderate Muslim is one that doesn't fully follow the Koran, i.e. "back slidden" and a back slidden Christian is one that doesn't know or knows but doesn't follow the teaching of Jesus. Greg tells John that it sounds like your friend is saying that the hope for America is back slidden Muslims and back slidden Christians. Also, the Koran teaches hatred toward the Jews. The Koran has three goals in regards to those who are not Muslims; convert them, bring them into servitude, or kill them, see Christianity vs. Islam; Bible vs. Koran. The Koran denies access through Jesus to God and does not recognize that Jesus is the only way to heaven and so with that it is important to understand the meaning of "JJ", Jesus and Jews, otherwise one may think that what is said on VFNRadio, or the VFN Torch is about being intolerant toward the Muslims and that cannot be further from the truth. The truth is the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is completely rejected by the Koran and those who follow it and it is seen as very adversarial as it is discussed in this program regarding the imprisonment of Iranian Pastor Youcef Nardarkhani. Pastor Youcef has been in prison for three years in Iran for evangelizing Muslims in his country; he has been recently ordered to appear in court yet again and has now been released. They continue to encourage Christians to stand with Israel and organizations like CUFI (Christians United for Israel) because as goes Israel so goes the church.
