When we are going through a trial, the word of God tells us in Hebrews 12:7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? It's not over its just begun if you work with God as He is working on you. If God is working on you there is still hope.

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 12: 15, John encourage us to listen to advice and avoid the ways of a fool who is only interested in following his or her ways. Although we may not be a fool it is possible at times to do foolish things. He continues to remind us that a wise man or woman is humble enough to accept that, although they may feel absolutely right about something or point of view, they are still willing to listen to advice. If the Christian's chief aim is to be in right standing in God's sight that would cause him to be open to listen.

John and Pat offer encouragement for those who are struggling or facing difficult situations in their lives. Philippians 4:6-7 tells

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. They share that no matter what we are facing today we can either fear the outcome, which by fearing we can do nothing, or we can turn to God, to the one, who could do something about our situation through prayer. When we turn to God and make our request known to him He will grant us peace beyond our ability to understand.

In two recent and separate incidents, Israel has responded to threats to their civilians by conducting an air strike in Gaza where CNN reports that militants have launched more than 110 rockets since Saturday. At almost the same time Israeli Defense Forces fire a warning shot at the Syrian military for the first time since the 1973 Yom Kippur War according to Jerusalem Post. The shot was fired after a stray Syrian shell from their civil war exploded in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu was quoted by CNN as saying, "The world must understand that Israel will not sit idly against attempts to harm us. We are ready to intensify the reaction" John encourages us now more than ever Israel needs the church to continue to boldly, publicly, prayerfully stand for Israel.

John and Pat share about a troubling reality in Spain where evictions are leading to a homeless crisis. John shares an account from the New York Times where a family was evicted from their apartment after falling behind in the mortgage. They were now sleeping in the hallway of their building while there daughters slept in a neighbors van. They continue to share how allegedly Spain has virtually no emergency system for families. John and Pat encourage us to take note of not only what is happening in Spain but also what is happening to people in the United States and begin to empathize and move in compassion. This is a perfect time for the church, God's people, to build community and get to know their neighbors, so they can be there for each other. John also offers encouragement for those in Spain and anywhere else where people are struggling or facing difficult situations in their lives. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us...

In a recent interview with the Christian Post Reverend Graham said "I believe God must still have a purpose for keeping me here, and I look forward to seeing what that might be." John, Pat, and Chris continue to share about our purpose for life. They share experiences from their own lives as well as encouraging us by letting us know that everyone person has a purpose. That each person is not only known and loved by God and that true purpose can only be found in God. It's only when we know God that we can discover why we are alive on earth.

Greg, Pat, and John begin to share about the original word the Lord gave them when we began the journey of getting back to the basics in God: His original intent for the Church. It wasn't until David, a man after God's own heart, became desperately jealous for God's glory and His presence where he lived accompanied by his willingness to pay the price, did it become a reality. They share about their own actual experiences in doing the same as David and watching the difference between those who suffered loss and ran and those who suffered loss, but gathered themselves, studied God's ways and went back after God and His presence. You'll be encouraged and informed if you too, have become like David, Josiah, and the woman who had the issue of blood for twelve years, that no matter what happened they wanted God and were going after Him.

John and Pat share that many today know that something is missing in their life and many are coming to the realization that what is missing is God. They share one account found in 1 Samuel 7:1-7 where the Israelites mourned not having the Ark of God for twenty years. Samuel, God's prophet, shared with them important instructions that still serve us well today on how to turn back to God. They continue to share another account in God's word found in 2 Chronicles 33:9-13 where Manasseh King of Judah, paid no attention to God's voice and as a result Manasseh faced serious ramifications. However, in his captivity, after he lost the Kingdom, he sought the Lord. The lord heard him, forgave him and restored to him his kingdom. John, Pat, and Chris encourage us to turn our hearts to God now, while we still can. God loves us and has a plan for our life but we must turn to him, repent, and serve him wholeheartedly.
