Reverend Billy Graham, one of God's Generals just celebrated his 94th birthday yesterday, November the 7th. John, Pat, and Chris discuss Reverend Billy Graham's rich legacy and faithful ministry for God. They continue to discuss how Reverend Graham after preaching to over one million people, traveling the world to preach the Gospel, and writing several books Reverend Graham is still seeking to fulfill God's purpose in his life. In a recent interview with the Christian Post Reverend Graham said, "I believe God must still have a purpose for keeping me here, and I look forward to seeing what that might be." John, Pat, and Chris continue to share about their purpose for life. They share experiences from their own lives as well as encouraging us by letting us know that every person has a purpose. That each person is not only known and loved by God and your true purpose can only be found in God. It's only when we know God that we can discover why we are alive on earth.

John, Pat, and Chris talk about the election and encourage the church to pray for our President. This has been a long election with passionate Americans who voted in record number. Now that the votes have been counted and the President has been reelected it is time for our elected representatives to work together for the sake of our nation. They remind the church that 1 Timothy 2:1-4 encourages us to pray for our leaders and those in authority. They continue to share that for several years they have prayed for President and his family and for those who will help him govern and share some of that prayer with VFNRadio listeners.

John, Pat, and Chris share that although everyone may not love God; that never determines God's love for them. God loves every human being as we are all made in the image of God. When you were unlovable he still loved you. Don't run away from the Love of God. It's His goodness and kindness that causes us to get right with Him. God doesn't hate you, He loves you. The Bible says he knit you in your mother's womb. God is not after what you can do for him He is after your heart. What you believe about God will determine what you will do. The question is, what will you do with God's love? He freely gives it to you. If you don't know God as your personal savior, will you receive his love or will you reject it? If you know Jesus Christ as your savior will you "feed Jesus sheep"? Will you enter the harvest fields and share God's love with others. What will you do with God's love?

With nearly one hundred sixteen million votes the people have spoken and have reelected President Obama to another term. John, Pat, and Chris discuss that it's time for the nation to unite and to be praying for our President, as he will lead our nation for the next four years. John shares wisdom regarding making decisions according to James 4:15. "Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." As a man or woman of God you want to have integrity and honor your commitments, but it's important to honor what God tells you to do. It's wise when making decisions and commitments to share with others that as a Christian you live to honor God and that you can commit to them whatever decision you are making with the understanding that if God is requiring of you to do something else at that time, that you will do it. That helps the person and you to be very clear in terms of expectations and commitments and allows you to freely do what God has is calling you to do.
