John, Pat, Steve and Chris discuss sources of power that affect people's lives. They share how physical force, money, and words have all been used to change people but there is nothing in the world known to man that has more power to transform and change someone's life like the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Other forms of power help to bring moments of change, but the gospel is life changing, producing lasting fruit. During their discussion, they talk about how the gospel has transformed their lives as well as a man named David Berkowitz also known as the Son of Sam, New York's most infamous serial killer. John, Pat, and Chris reflect how much the gospel of Jesus Christ the true source of power changed their lives. Chris shares what his life was like before God and after Jesus Christ came into his heart, nothing but the love and power of God.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss what has come to surface in the country of Spain. CBN, Christian Broadcasting News, is reporting that that a court ordered exhumation has been ordered to see if there are any dead newborn babies in coffins. Allegedly there may be 300,000 Spanish babies that have been taken from their mothers and sold on the black market. This evil has been taking place since as early as 1939 during the Franco dictatorship. This was allegedly done with the help an evil web of doctors, nurses, priest and nuns. Babies taken away from their mothers and sold all the while telling lies to mothers that, their babies died after giving birth. John, Pat, and Chris share that there is gross evil and that as Christians we must not be naïve of this evil and of those like radical Islam that hate Jews and those who follow Jesus, Christians. They continue to share the bible says that in the last days the love of many will grow cold and this is referring to the church. What would a loveless world look like? It was nothing but evil that not only used Hitler, but the Nazis, and the German citizens to be responsible for the killing of six million Jews. All evil comes from satan but he needs people to follow his will. They continue to discuss what Gotz Aly allegedly shares in his book Hitler's Beneficiaries, that some German citizens where willing to look the other way when Jews were being killed because much of their furniture, gold, money, and property was given to them by Hitler. As believers we must be united in love for each other and Jesus Christ and be aware that just like Isaiah 59:19 says that when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord Shall lift up a standard against him. May that standard be Christians, who live for Jesus share the truth and never back down to evil.

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for Christians to do nothing with the truth they know.

They continue to share how we can learn a great deal by what we are seeing in this super storm, Hurricane Sandy. Just how it takes much effort, time, and expenses to rebuild physical structures and home, Matthew 7:24-28 shares with us the cost we will have to pay, when we have not built on a solid foundation in our personal lives. People are facing all kinds of storms in their life, from job loss, failed marriages, economic, loss of loved ones and loss of houses just to name a few. In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 30:7-9, Greg shares how God alone is enough. The same way that it is impossible not to have water touch you when you swim or air away from us so it is impossible to keep away from the lies of Satan and those who are his children since he is known as the father of lies. The only one who can keep us free from falsehood and lies is Jesus when we ask him to keep us free from them and as we abide. With God, all things are possible. The man in this proverb is sincere and transparent with God and blows the whole American dream concept out of the water when he tells God not to give him riches nor poverty because either one would cause him to either disown God or forget him. Instead, he asked for daily break. Life does not exist in the abundance of things. We can trust Him. All we need to do is seek his kingdom and righteousness. God is enough.

In this Re-thinking Church moment Greg and Pat share how it's going to take a whole lot of Pastors who are in it for the right reason and who have autonomy to care for God's sheep and protect them, give them wisdom and keep them safe. It's going to take believers who love God and want to do the right thing before God. Jethro, in the Bible, gave his son in law, Moses, wisdom when he saw himself (ragged) trying to care for all of God's people on his own. He broke them down into groups of fifties and hundreds. Today, maybe what we are seeing is that some pastors today are really apostles and may need raise up leaders to look after a few. If you are called to be involved and over this many you may be apostolic, study the life of the Apostles in the book of Acts.

Greg and Pat discuss a recent report of a Pastor who was beaten to death when a man crashed his vehicle into the church building and beat the Pastor Dirks with an electric guitar. Allegedly the man was tazed by police and later died while being transported by police. This is a horrific thing that has occurred. The church of the deceased Pastor said he was a man of integrity and was always ready and willing to help the church. Greg and Pat share how we need to pray for all of God's people. Jews and Jesus, those who belong to Jesus, are under attack. Satan has taken people captive to do his will whether there are those who belong to the radical Islam or not, it is all coming from the same place; Satan. You are made in the image of God. Satan hates you and wants to destroy you. As the church we are going to have to do what's right because everything is being done in the sight of God.

Some of the things talked about abortion; radical Islam;

Greg and Pat discuss how Hurricane Sandy shuts down the NY Stock Exchange. This is only the second time in history the stocked market has been shut down as a result of the weather. The last time this occurred was in 1918 when Woodrow Wilson was President. They continue to share how Woodrow Wilson was selected to run for the office of the President. During his time in office he was responsible for the League of Nations that was the blue print for what we have now in the United Nations.

President Woodrow Wilson felt the problem with America is that we needed a bigger government to meet the needs. The answer that materialized was bigger government. Allegedly Woodrow Wilson got the U.S. involved in the WWI to get a customer based back that we lost because of the war. The customer base was to raise money for his idea that bigger government is the answer to the problem America was facing at that time poverty being one of them. It was all about money. He developed a plan so this would have happened again by creating the League of Nations, a way to mix the nation's money, with the idea that nations would not fight each other because they would be affecting each other's economy. The whole idea was based on the government supplying all our needs rather than turning to God. The big turnaround for our nation is not bigger government. It's for the preachers in our nation to preach the gospel. We need to show the way by us repenting first. The dots connect and here we are today having faced a super storm that has half of Manhattan flooded in the city where the United Nations is located. Is there a clue for us in all this? Hurricane Sandy

Greg shares wrong year regarding when was the last time the stock market was last closed due to weather. However what was said in regards to President Woodrow Wilson is still relevant in the context that it was shared.
