Podcast - The Greg Lancaster Show, Live from the Glory Zone.

Greg, John, and Pat speak about racism and how we, as Christians, need to empathize with African Americans and other minorities and not ignore events in history that have played a role in what African Americans and other minorities have faced and are still facing today. They continue to speak about how the 1960's didn't end well with the assassinations of President John F Kennedy, his brother Bobby Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As they discussed they also spoke about how racism is still in the church and recounted an event that occurred that was previously aired On VFN Radio regarding how a white Christian woman in a particular church gathering called the police on a young African American Christian male, Derrick Grice, telling the police officer that there is a male in the parking lot and she was concerned about him breaking into their cars. As Derrick says this is the same person who he worshiped with, prayed with and sat on the same pews. Although we may come from different nations and ethnicities as believers we are part of a new nation. We are the family of God and that is what matters. We are brothers and sisters and as the church we make a beautiful rainbow of diversity.

Tracking Chip May be in your back pocket?

Greg, John, and Pat discuss new technologies that are making it easier for the new beast economy to emerge. Just like the proverbial frog never jumped out of the boiling water so too will many who will get drawn into the beast economy. The latest increase in water temperature is the RFID (radio frequency identification) which they discuss is being used in at least two schools in Texas to track students attendance. This is allegedly being done to ensure the schools can continue to receive funding. Greg, John, and Pat continue to share that this RFID chip is being used in credit and debit cards. The RFID Chip works by sending radio frequencies. New credit and debit cards now have the RFID chip as a way to pay for items without even swiping. Just lift your card and let the chip in the card do all the work and make the payment.

Although they are allegedly touted as safe Greg, John, and Pat discuss a video showing how with simple technology bought online a man who with permission for demonstration purposes was able to get the credit card from the person just by being near them with this device. This simple and inexpensive device was able to intercept the radio frequency from the credit card. If that was not bad enough the gentleman shows how he encoded his hotel room key to work as credit card with the numbers he was able to retrieve. He demonstrates its effectiveness by buying a soft drink.

They also continue to share and discuss a video where Adam Savage of the program "Myth Busters", on the Discovery Channel and their attempt to prove or disprove some myths regarding this technology. He goes on to say that when their team from Discovery allegedly called Texas Instruments they were greeted on the phone by a host of attorneys. He said he could still feel the hairs on his arm stand up needless to say the program regarding RFID chip was never produced. Greg, John, and Pat continue to talk about the RFID chip, the mark of the beast and the emerging beast economy. One of satan's identifiers is a deceiver. Don't be deceived abide with God.

No Self Control, Like a City with Broken Walls

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 25:28 Greg shares about self-control an how the lack of it is described as a city with broken walls. There is a big difference between walls that were never built and those that once were built and are not broken down. There is something about the whole visual that just says brokenness, disorder, needing repair, danger, easy to be harmed. So it is with someone who lacks self-control. Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit of God and when we surrender our life to Jesus Christ, abide with Him, and become His disciple; He gives us a grace to live a life of self-control by His Spirit.

Evil Is Real: Time for the Church to Rise

Greg, John, and Pat have a conversation regarding evil in light of the recent shooting that occurred at World Changer Church International pastored by Creflo Dollar. According to USA Today a man, who allegedly used to work and fellowship at the church, walked into a chapel where believers were gathered and shot and killed the man leading the prayer and then walked right out. He allegedly was later arrested at Starbucks. Greg, John, and Pat continue to discuss how there is great evil in the land and encourage everyone to pray for our brothers and sister in the Lord as they go through this travesty. We need to pray for wisdom on how shepherds of God's people can keep the flock safe when the people, the church of God, gather. They continue to share some evil and heinous things that have happened in our land. Many people today have no idea what our law enforcement officers filter out from our communities while everyone is sound asleep. Tougher times are coming to America there are those who believe in radical Islam and they hate Jews and Christians. Evil is evil there is no separate category for evil. Satan hates God's people. The church has been challenged with a question. What have you been doing with Jesus that has allowed an anti-Christ religion like Islam that has allegedly been able to infiltrate the government? Evil is evil and is of the same spirit. There is no way that you can be good on your own apart from having a relationship with Jesus. It's no longer time to watch the church but it is time to be the church. The way to defeat evil is with love. Some other things discussed were US Ambassador Christopher Stevens; Libya; aiding of arms; and Syria.

Are you dressed for the Wedding?

Greg, John, and Pat discuss a parable found in Matthew 22:1-14 where Jesus is talking about a king who invited people to a wedding banquet and after sending out his servants a couple of times to offer invitations for all to come and only for them to decline because they had other things to do and some even killed some of his servants then the king in this parable becomes enraged. Eventually at the wedding banquet the King notices a man who was not properly dressed in wedding clothes. He was present but he was not prepared to be there. The man was speechless and the king ordered him to be tied hand and foot and to be thrown outside into darkness where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. You need to be dressed with righteous deeds. We have to do something. We need to have fruit in our lives. We are known by our fruit. We have to make Jesus the Lord of our lives, be discipled and bear fruit and that can only be done by having an abiding relationship with the Lord.

Greg, John, and Pat share regarding Gideon in the Bible. He was a man that was trying to earn a living in the midst of strife filled people when God called him. Gideon was called a mighty man of valor, (even though he was chosen because he was the weakest and less likely) so he could begin to do something where God can show himself mighty. It's time for God's people to rise up and join the flanks of Gideon's army around the world. It's time to stand for God and for Israel. Some of those who are rising up are in International House of Prayer where they release prophetic worship. You can listen in this segment to a prophetic song and rap regarding Jacob, Israel, - "Jacob where are you". It is a very encouraging prophetic release about what God is doing. Join Gideon's Army. Be a part of this spiritual army that hears what God is saying, and does exactly what he tells them to do.

With only thirteen days until the Presidential Election, Greg, Pat, and John encourage the Church, God's people, to not only to vote but to vote God's values. To vote based on one of the highest values near and dear to the heart of God. That is Israel and often times referred to in the Bible as Jacob. Greg speaks prophetically as he shares that Israel will have to do something as a result of what America does or does not do. This an important election one and it's important that we don't vote for people but instead for values in regard to God and Israel. According to The Blaze, former President Bill Clinton's strategist is helping Israel's labor party in election opposition against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. There is a strategy in place to against Christians and Jews. Don't allow those who have a lot to gain over as a result of the 1 billion plus dollars being spent on this election campaign. Don't be one of the one's that will vote based on the economy and your wallet but be one that will stand for God and his values and vote accordingly.

Greg, John and Pat continue their conversation regarding voting and community organizing. They share how although many community organizations are separate, some are connected to (PICO) Pacific Institute and Community Organizing. They share that PICO is allegedly trying to make this election something it is not. They are grabbing a hold of Dr. Martin Luther King's vision and try to make it what they want it to be. God used Dr. King to bring a nation to a place that it wasn't able to go to. However, Dr. King's niece, Alved King , continues to carry his vision on but this is not the case with PICO. They are taking his vision and using it in their communication with literature, displaying an African American young male with hands bound and American flag bandana with the caption "Let My People Vote". There have been significant wounds that have taken place that require healing. Where should this healing come from. Bishop EW Jackson says that the Democratic Party (for decades) has been moving to an anti-Christian direction. These political parties are over. As Christians, we are value voters. We should not vote parties, candidates or platforms, but rather God's values. In addition, PICO is allegedly using this political atmosphere to raise money. As Bishop Jackson says, they are using what has happen to the African American people in our nation for their agenda and not for the African American or minority. According to CBN, Christian Broadcasting Network, 67 percent of African Americans are in support of voter ID's, they too want to defend their right to vote. Everybody matters; one man, one vote. We are a republic form of government where every citizen deserves to be represented.

In this moment of wisdom, Greg shares that when we see danger, when we as believers have eyes to see and know that a person, or people are heading in a direction that leads to their death, when we see they'll be slaughtered by their adversary if they don't stop going in that direction and warn them of the coming storm; If we take an attitude that "they deserve it" or "they should have known better" and continue on in our lives and business, we will not be able to escape the "we knew it and didn't do anything with what we knew". If God has made things known to you, If God has shared with you of impending danger or storm you should be compelled to warn those who are being led to their death. A storm is brewing. Will you remain silent? This is why we have VFNRadio and why we have VFNtv and why we are RE-THINKING Church so we can cry out to God and turn back to God, to His ways, to His original intent for us, to stop the death walk.
