Greg, and Pat share about how we are only seven days away from the election. Millions will be casting their votes you need to make sure you show up and when you show up be sure to vote your values. You want to vote for the best person who represents your values as a Christian. Vote for the one who believes in and is willing to defend the constitutional rights provided by the constitution. In particular, the first amendment that allows the church the freedom of not only preaching the gospel but the right to gather. Many of our soldiers have fought in other countries for them to have to experience freedom such as in South Korea and in Vietnam. Greg shares how South Korea recently honored American war veterans for their sacrifice. Will we forget the price of freedom and the importance of our Constitution? Get educated, get informed and vote. This nation can be turned around to what we want it to be but you as a Christian have a vital role to play. As Christians we want to be known as a Christian nation.

In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 29:25 Greg shares regarding the fear of man proving to be a snare and that whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. He continues to share how the fear of man is a trap that the Lord wants us to stay clear from.

This is important to understand for many declare with loud bold voices they do not fear man, but their every decision is based on how their actions or words will be accepted by a man, while never once considering the heart of God and how God will feel about their actions. The opposite of up is down, right is left and fear of man is the opposite of the fear of God.

We can and are called to honor men, but fear God. When we trust in The Lord (fear The Lord) we will be kept safe! You can't just stop fearing man without replacing that fear with the fear of the Lord. We cannot be double minded. We must exercise faith and totally trust God being sure and certain that he is able to keep us safe.

Greg, John, and Pat share in this Rethinking Church moment the significance and importance of not having an us and them mentality as believers regarding the church. It's not only okay but wise to think about why we do what we do. It's not us and them, it's just us. The church is not a building; the church is the people of God. The church is one body although we have many different parts we are one. However, it's important to know that speaking against what's wrong in the body is not speaking against the body. If you are for Jesus you cannot speak against the church because you will be speaking out against his body. When thinking about the church it's always important to think of the church in terms of people, believers, and people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior. VFNRadio is here to encourage the body of Christ. When the church gets along it's functioning as it was designed to do as we aim to give honor to each part as it does its work.

Greg, John, and Pat and discuss the United Nations' Human Rights Council's decision to boycott of a U.S. companies that are doing business with Israel. United Nations is actually in the United States, more specifically NYC and yet they try to influence U.S. companies to boycott Israel this should not be but they should boycott the United Nations instead and have them out of the United States. The church cannot sit back and do nothing about this. There are many companies who will buy into this because of fear. The real owner of these companies and businesses are the stock holders and those who have 401K's. God is not unjust he sees if you are making demands on the CEOs for more return on your investment and if you force their hand and they do wrong in the sight of God. Everything is connected although man may never see it God sees it all. Don't compromise God's principle for your dollars. Stand up for principles, stand up for Israel and stand up for Christians to worship freely and see the benefits that will come as a result of your standing for righteousness.

Greg, John, and Pat share regarding the Super Storm that is headed up the east coast. They pray God's protection for everyone who is in harm's way. They continue to discuss how the Lord has prophetically spoken to us regarding the Super Storm and different weather patterns and conditions that will be happening in the future. The hurricane (Super Storm) is headed to New Jersey and NYC where much preparation has taken place in advance of Hurricane Sandy's arrival. Many businesses are closed, flights have been cancelled, mandatory evacuations have been ordered, and shelters have been opened. Life is very fragile when we look back at previous storms of the past. Most of these storms did not last long but in the end they left massive devastation in their wake. If God just took his little finger off of us where would we be? We need to honor God. They also discuss tips and wisdom to be applied for making it through the storm.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the prophetic word, The High Calling of True Commitment to Christ, given by Rick Joyner. In this word Rick shares commitment, loyalty, and faithfulness are all prerequisites for authority in any realm, and they are required for authority in the Kingdom.

How could anyone truly know Almighty God, the All-Consuming Fire, and not be on fire for Him? Would anyone choose to serve a king and keep their job long if they were not devoted to the highest standards of excellence? How could we who have been chosen to serve the King of kings be lackadaisical about our service to Him?

We should have the highest devotion to Him because of Who He is. We should then have the highest devotion to Him because of all that He has done for us.

If that alone doesn't compel us, then we should have the highest standards of devotion for Him because of the abundant Biblical warnings about the consequences of those who treat Him casually.

We are entering the times when no one will make it who has not built their house solidly on the Rock. God even gives a strong warning in Revelation 3:16 regarding about being lukewarm. It is better to be either hot or cold and when it comes to having a relationship with God, when it comes to serving the King in His Kingdom it always is better to be hot for God. Having an abiding relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way we are going to make it.

In this moment of Re-Thinking Church Greg, John, and Pat discuss how God is a God of order and structure but it's not a Roberts Rule of Order. God has established order and his order cannot be replaced by Roberts Rule of Order, it's not political its family. Family is about relationship, not about philosophies and concepts, so we can function. We need God, love and relationship to function in the order God has called us to function in, family.

Greg, John, and Pat revisited the United Nations sending international monitors to poll the U.S. Election for voter fraud groups. They are allegedly sending people who are dictators, people who are radical Islamist to watch our elections. In response to this FOX News is reporting that the Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbot, is now threatening to prosecute any observer who breaks state law by getting too close to any polling site. He cautioned them against going within 100 feet. Greg, John, and Pat continue to share that in the United States we have our own poll watchers and don't need the help of the United Nations.

In this moment of wisdom found in Proverbs 26:28 Greg share about lying tongue and flattering lips. There is so many lies being told today and many don't even know the definition of what a lie is anymore. A lie is defined as a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth. A lie is something that is intended or serving to convey a false impression. Flattery is defined as excessive and insincere praise that is given to further one's own interests. Adolph Hitler said "Tell a lie loud enough and long enough and people will believe it." There are so many lies today being spread by politicians and the as well as the church. Greg, John, and Pat continue to say all these lies originate with the father of lies satan himself. They encourage us to walk in truth and in the light by God's grace.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the need to truly understand and learn how to repent as a church. There are many who are praying but are we repenting? We can no longer bury our heads in the sand. The Pharisees in the Bible were real religious but being religious is not the answer. They share that just by noticing what has been happening in America it's going to take us a while to learn how to repent. Repenting is no longer doing things the wrong way but to start doing them the right way, God's way. Repentance is leaving a life of sin. The question is when God spares us will we walk with God or stay in a life of sin?
