  • LOVED by GOD?
John, Pat, and Chris share that although everyone may not love God that never determines his love for them. God loves every human being as we are made in the image of God. When you were unlovable he still loved you. Don't run away from the Love of God. It's His goodness and kindness that causes us to get right with Him. God doesn't hate you, He loves you. The Bible says he knit you in your mother's womb. God is not after what you can do for him He is after your heart. What you believe about God will determine what you will do. He loves you.

  • Chicago Taxing every Bullet and Fire Arm sale to Curb Gang Violence: Is this a 2nd Amendment issue?
John, Pat, Chris discuss how some elected officials in Chicago allegedly are proposing a nickel tax for each bullet and $25 for each fire arm sold in the county. The tax would generate about $ 1 million a year, monies that would be used for medical care for gunshots victims. This tax is in effort to suppress gang violence. They continue to share that more than likely criminals are not the ones buying their ammunition or guns legally and will not be affected by the tax. However, law abiding citizens who purchase ammunition and firearms per their constitutional right will be affected. They encourage VFNRadio listeners to be aware of all subtle attacks against Constitutional rights. Grievous acts are not corrected by committing grievous acts on others. The answer to gang violence and murders is not to chip away at the Constitution but rather for God's people to repent, humble themselves and pray then maybe God would save and heal their land.

  • Will you Promote Love or will You Promote Offense?
In this wisdom moment found in Proverbs 17:9, John shares that in regard to this scripture there are two kinds of people. Those who cover offenses and therefore promote Love and those who repeat a matter and therefore separate close friends. One involves humility, total dependency on God and respect for other people, and the other one is rooted in pride. Believers are reminded in 1 Peter 4:8 that above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Jesus said, in Matthew 22:36-39 "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself."

  • Who Does God Love? Revisited
John and Pat revisit a previously aired segment, Who Does God Love? In this segment Greg asks a very important question. One which if answered correctly will have profound influence when it comes to relating with others and our perception of other people. The question is: Who does God Love? The answer is all mankind. People who are like us and people who are not like us as well as people who do good and those who do evil. As Christians how can we hate the ones God loves for God himself is love? We are called to love. John and Pat share that the one of the greatest things that causes one not to love are the judgments they make about others. Judgments made because they are different and because of their sin. If God's people don't get this revelation they will try to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that does not reflect the Lord's original intent. Anyone who has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior was only able to do so because of the grace, unmerited favor, that was provided to them by God.

  • Don't Let Fear Stop You! Take a Leap of Faith
John and Pat share about a time when they jumped off of a 20 foot tree into a river. They describe how harmless it first appeared to them but as they climbed they realized they were very high. At that time either fear or faith will win. Many times fear will try to influence you to stop or doubt what God has called you to do. Fear will have you questioning and moving in doubt when all we need to do is just jump in faith into what God has before us. We will not be jumping blindly but rather on God's word.

John and Pat discuss Felix Baumgartner's supersonic jump from 128,100 feet from outer space. They share what the earth looks like from that altitude. They continue to discuss having perspective on what's going on in life. God has a different perspective than what many people are accustomed to seeing in their everyday lives. He has a "Heaven" view perspective. God doesn't see like we see. In fact, he sees yesterday, today and tomorrow all at the same time. The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth. When you have no place to turn remember you can always look up.

  • Mark of the Beast, Click here to accept
Greg, John, and Pat discuss the emerging economy and the mark of the beast. The Bible tells us that only those who accept this mark will be able to buy and sell. Some have said that they would never take the mark of the beast. Greg shares how a panel of board members discusses the people who write all of the "terms of agreement" that people see when they download software on their computer and many digital products and services. The terms of agreement that speaks of terms of use, indemnity, and use of data. He goes on to share that the panel discussed that they know that most people just click I Agree. Most are giving permission for companies to store all their data. They go on to share that it can be seen how one day in those terms of agreement that most people don't read that many will accept and agree to a statement that says you agree to buy this product and that you will not buy or sell without taking this mark. Most are so trained just to click I Agree and because you agreed you will be held accountable to the agreement.

  • Students are being Electronically Tracked with RFID Chip
Greg, John, and Pat share how students in Texas are now being tracked with RFID chips. This is happening because their education is funded by attendance and as a way to ensure they receive funding they thought it best to have tracking devices placed on the students to ensure they receive money. Our constitutional rights are being eroded right in front of us and if the church does not repent it is likely that we will not be able to keep our constitution. We can trust the government or we can trust God.
