Podcast - The Wheel Route

While it’s not the strongest schedule of the year, Week 11 is also not pounding us with bad out-of-conference matchups and there are still some decent contests to take in; bonus rememberance of some of our favorite ACC Network commercials. Games picked = Georgia @ Ole Miss, Clemson @ Virginia Tech, Colorado @ Texas Tech, Alabama @ LSU, and BYU @ Utah.

We’re back to get grumpy about the recent time change and collect our thoughts on a somewhat disappointing (though still entertaining!) collection of results from Week 10; the coaching carousel remains quiet and it seems that several previously-endangered individuals are working their way towards survival.

All remains mostly-quiet on the coaching carousel; fewer ranked-on-ranked games this week but still some interesting matchups on the board. Games picked = Ohio State @ Penn State, Oregon @ Michigan, Florida v Georgia, Louisville @ Clemson, and Pittsburgh @ SMU.

Join us as we discuss the happenings of Week 9, which saw evidence of some teams continuing to improve from week to week while others appear to be plateauing or even regressing - and perhaps some more examples of additional parity across the sport. Bonus home improvement/appliance discussion!

No updates on the coaching carousel but Week 9 features a fairly enticing slate of games including 5 ranked-on-ranked matchups which we of course have guessed against the spread for entertainment purposes only. Games picked = Notre Dame @ Navy, Illinois @ Oregon, Missouri @ Alabama, Texas @ Vanderbilt, and LSU @ Texas A&M.

Week 8 gave us plenty to discuss but maybe not too much to read too deeply into; we’re starting to see some big-name programs fade from playoff discussion while others are putting impressive performances on film. Bonus Tony Bennett retirement musings!

We head into Week 8 with an enticing schedule and a shocking amount of silence on the Coaching Carousel front, though Logan has some updated thoughts on the Florida Big Board. Games picked = Miami @ Louisville, Nebraska @ Indiana, Alabama @ Tennessee, Michigan @ Illinois, and Georgia @ Texas.

We return from a weather-induced absence to revisit a very entertaining slate of games in Week 7 that included numerous overtime finishes and questionable clock management decisions. Bonus discourse regarding injury replays on TV and win probability charts!

Folks, this was a Blood Week - 7 ranked teams lost this past weekend, including 5 of the top-11 (and a very close call for a 6th school late Saturday night on the West Coast). Logan also enters the first copy of his Florida Head Coach Big Board into the record!

Back at full strength to look at what does not appear to be a stellar schedule but still has some interesting options for the true sickos out there. Games picked = Syracuse @ UNLV, Missouri @ Texas A&M, Rutgers @ Nebraska, Clemson @ Florida State, and Michigan @ Washington.
