2-man operation to recall the happenings of Week 5 which included another disappointing loss by Ole Miss and a wild finish to the Georgia-Alabama matchup that lived up to (and probably exceeded) the hype.
Week 5 has yet to kick off and we’ve already got new (hypothetical) landing spots for some figures in the coaching world, UNLV loses their starting QB to an NIL dispute, and the board of games looks potentially fun! Games picked = Virginia Tech @ Miami, Oklahoma State @ Kansas State, Louisville @ Notre Dame, Georgia @ Alabama, and Illinois @ Penn State.
Week 4 gave us plenty to dissect including wins by our 3 favorite schools, a Friday night/Saturday morning contest being hailed by some as the game of the year, and mixed performances by top new QB prospects.
Week 4 is nearly upon us with a much more exciting slate of games to dive into, including 4 ranked-on-ranked matchups. Games picked = Illinois @ Nebraska, JMU @ UNC, USC @ Michigan, Utah @ Oklahoma State, and Tennessee @ Oklahoma.
Join us to face the music for mostly-subpar picks, a tough week for teams close to our heart, musings on Colorado’s return to the win column, and Jesse Palmer/Joe Tess’ content masterclass from Gainesville.
The Week 3 board appears to truly be one for the sickos among us, so join us to sift through the trash in search of some joy. Games picked = Arizona @ Kansas State, LSU @ South Carolina, Boston College @ Missouri, Oregon @ Oregon State, and Maryland @ Virginia.
A lot went according to plan for most games in Week 2, but we still were given some exciting finishes and inexcusable losses (looking at you, Notre Dame) to cover including a better overall week of picks for our hosts.
This week we have a nutrient-dense combo episode to review the Week 1 results to the best of our recollection and look forward to a less-glitzy Week 2 board. Games picked = Texas @ Michigan, Iowa State @ Iowa, South Carolina @ Kentucky, Tennessee @ NC State, and Colorado @ Nebraska.
