We chat with Janneke Oudenaarden from Midwifery Practice Eindhoven and Kinderrijk Meerhoven. Janneke sees many internationals during delivery time and during, but often already before, pregnancy.

How does the Chinese community celebrate the Chinese New Year? Jean-Paul Linnartz asked Xiangyu Wang about the traditions and the meaning of the festival. 

Most people started off 2020 with the best of intentions, plans and dreams. When COVID-19 hit, it became a bit of a blur. For a lot of us, 2020 was the year of the pandemic. However, we forgot that Black Lives Matter and misinformation/fake news also played a huge role last year. The movie is an initiative of city marketing organisation Eindhoven365 and is, after 'Een Kei Fijne Film' and 'Een Kei Fijne Film: Hotel Eindhoven', the third Christmas movie in a row.  With this movie, Eindhoven365 hopes to offer a bright light to all Eindhoven residents and to the makers in our city. A movie with a positive outlook towards the new year. Something we can put to good use in these dark days.
