The Polish poet Czeslaw Milosz wrote, “The purpose of poetry is to remind us / how difficult it is to remain just one person.” We all carry multiple and often conflicting stories about our lives. Narrative Therapy is a contemporary technique aimed at helping people rewrite those stories. It’s not easy remaining “just one person.”
