Podcasting worlds collide as two thirds of The Other Women join Hoge and Cla for a very special podcast collaboration. The gang debate some of their favourite movies and TV shows of 2016, 1998 and 1999.

Cla climbs another rung on the comedy ladder, encounters some new enemies in the library , visits Limerick's newest hotspot and goes porn free. Hoge and Cla break down the Oasis documentary 'Supersonic', Westworld (with spoilers).

The boys also launch the 'Win a date with Cla' competition which you can enter by pitching your date idea (along with your written agreement to pay for said date) to [email protected].

Cla goes for a job interview and performs more comedy, Hoge rediscovers his love for Blink 182, the boys review the best TV shows since 2000 as well as some important online stats and some scandalous accusations about rugby players are made. TV shows discussed include The Sopranos, The Office, The Wire, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Breaking Bad, Fargo, Westworld, 

Opening song this week is'Anthem Part 2' and closing song is 'Cynical', both by Blink 182.

The boys attempt to make themselves heard over the roars of rude children for a chat about a hot new podcast, Instagram birds, Hoge's planned excursion to Africa next year, Cla's next stand-up performance and spoiler-free discussions of 'War on Everyone', Black Mirror episode 'Nosedive', 'Hell or High Water' and 'Atlanta'. There's also a slightly spoilery discussion of 'Westworld'.

The 'Smith' in Hoge 'n' Smith returns (although technically speaking he is 'Smyth' and if you really want to be accurate, he's actually 'Collins'). The trio discuss Cla's third attempt at stand-up, Maghnus's swim around Ireland, great album openers, bathroom misadventures and question the wisdom of clustering together L, G, B, T and Q.

We're back with our first new podcast in months and goddamnit we'll be back with another one next week! Cla details his second go at comedy and rags on Stranger Things, Hoge recounts his trip to America and the boys discuss Cla's theory regarding the fallout of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
