The premise is that we pit two like bands against each other and each defend our case for which we prefer. The guidelines being: the band you pick stays around, while the other band’s catalog disappears off the face of the planet. This is the music nerd version of arguing with your family at Thanksgiving dinner. Nirvana or Pearl Jam? The Smiths or The Cure? Listen and find out!
We also discuss the recent news of the Bull Moose Music Portland, ME location closing its doors at the end of the month. We’ve collectively spent hundreds, maybe even thousands, of hours crate digging in the Portland location over the last 20 years. This is a real example of the implications of Covid hitting home.
