In Tv Talk, we discuss the most recent episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Gotham. On Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. we are re-introduced to the Koenig family, which is portrayed primarily by Jason’s favorite, Patton Oswalt. On Gotham Jerome is unleashing his own brand of terror, and we get a very dark and disturbing episode as a result. We also break with tradition by adding a brief discussion of the new DC sitcom Powerless starring Vanessa Hudgens, Alan Tudyk, Danny Pudi, and Ron Funches.

In wrestling talk, David gives a little bit of information on the new season of , which began this week, and some interesting things that they are doing with storytelling. Also, we have an announcement on some bonus content that we’ll be releasing this week, so look for that announcement toward the end of the show.

Welcome back to another inexplicably named episode of Podvocacy.

This week, Jason spends time with a sick kid, and appeared on an upcoming episode of Transmissions. David went and saw a movie about dog reincarnation with very few famous people in it.

In television, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gives us some interesting movement on the LMD front. Coulson makes some bad decisions, Fitz uses his intuition, and Daisy tries to play politics. Over on Gotham, we finally get the return of everyone’s favorite sorta-Joker. Also, David pitches a new direction for the show to go if both of these shows get cancelled.

Finally, we spend some time on the 2017 WWE Royal Rumble. We discuss the winner, the big moments, and what happened on the rest of the card.

Welcome to the latest episode of Podvocacy with Jason and David.

This week, we talk about cleaning up after sick kids, going to see movies, and brand new phones. Also, Jason is extremely cagey about something that may or may not be happening.

In television, we discuss what happens when LMDs gain a sort of sentience. We also discuss the idea that maybe Director Mace isn’t really what he seems. Gee…go figure. After that, we discuss the happenings in Gotham, which sees Victor Zsasz make a return, much to our delight. I don’t think Jim Gordon feels the same way, though.

We also, as promised last week, do a preview of the Royal Rumble. Careful, though…if you are dead set against spoilers, you may want to not listen to this segment of the show, as David talks about some names that might be making a surprise appearance on the first stop of this year’s road to Wrestlemania.

In television, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is back from their winter hiatus, and we break down the new episode: Broken Promises. We discuss Mack’s fears of fictional robot uprisings…even though they had a real robot uprising in this universe not even two years ago, and how the writers of the show fooled us a little bit.

Finally, David discusses the WWE UK Championship Tournament on the WWE Network, and how it was. Was it worth the $9.99 for a month of the WWE Network? Find out by listening. We also promise to do a Royal Rumble preview next week.
