This week is all about family! It's not easy having different views from your family, the ones who raised you, but it's even more difficult when you need to confront those differing views and continue on the road to changing your mindset.

The first part of our "Three -als" series is all about the impact society has on our mindsets. From the news, to social media, to work and even our friends, society plays a major role in shaping our thoughts. Thankfully, it's also an easier one to change due to the distance society can be from our lives.

When things don't go the way we want, it's SO easy to just lower our expectations for the next go-round. Once they're lowered though, we begin to invite that level of stuff into our lives and lower OURSELVES.

Change, while never fun, is necessary at times. The issue is we seem to come up with reasons as to why we won't change our current situations. Money, fame, sex, none of that is more important than being happy and changing our situation into one that makes us truly happy.
