This is an ode to the people I have lost, people I have seen struggling and of course my own journey with respect to mental health. The unnamed character in this piece goes spiralling down an unfamiliar path in his life. Or is he just a figment of imagination? This poem was written for a charity event aimed at raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. So it is fair to give a trigger warning before we start: this EP contains a discussion of Anxiety, Depression, Self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Please seek help if you are facing any of these issues. Remove the stigma around mental health.
