The 31st National Coming Out Day was celebrated last week on October 11th.
In the 10th episode of Poems for People, host R.R. Noall talks about her own coming out process as well as a poetry book she's been working on.
Closet Haikus is a collaborate coming out poetry collection. The Kickstarter campaign was successfully funded in the spring of 2019. As the publication date (December 2019) approaches, she wanted to share the project with the Poems for People community and give listeners a chance to participate.
Lastly, Noall writes a "Closet Haiku" on her typewriter.

Sit back, and enjoy this episode of Poems for People.
From her career to her desire to explore Colorado and her love of all things human, Ashley Barrett is on many adventures, one could say.
As a DPT now pursuing her MBA, she is driven to create equitable health care systems that increase a patient's quality of life. In the same vein, she's all about living life to the fullest and passing that legacy onto her nephew.

Poems for People is something special. As the host, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what brought this poetry podcast into existence.
I take a moment, reflect, and write myself a poem, which I don't get to do very often.
