"The Yellow Rose of Texas,” a traditional American song from the 1850’s contains lyrics by an unknown author. And yet, once it became a popular tune, the song has never been put aside, but acquired a level of protagonism in the musical establishment throughout the United States, and most of the World for that matter.
The song has been displayed on the radio, television, shows, parades, movies, and on stage, always to the delight of the public who enjoy it so much. Although it is a romantic ballad full of energy and rhythm, it has also been considered a cowboy song. Everyone loves and wants to hear: “The Yellow Rose of Texas.”
Throughout time, the song had several changes in the titles, as well as a change of words in some verses. The song has no author, yet it is a popular theme with different variations of lyrics.
