Poem 3: "WANDERLUST"
- Once in a while, I wander off…
Following the beckon of a distant beacon,
Chasing the innermost longing for a serene haven.
I pack my bag, unpack raw emotion,
And depart to places where I’m known to none.
My feet kiss new landscapes, my eyes devour new sights,
And I open my heart to everything that excites.
Lulled by the honeysweet serenade of chopping waves,
I rest in the shade of mighty mountains, in the secluded shelter of caves.
Moving farther into the virgin expanse of nature,
And inching closer to the ecstatic dance of adventure.
I wander off…
To reunite with my pristine soul along the path,
And breathe more life in every breath.
