Our December 2010 open reading featured fewer callers but good conversations with poets from Birmingam, Alabama, Newark, New Jersey and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. There was also a long awkward stretch of time after the halfway mark where I talked out of my ass for a while waiting for people to call in. It was quite entertaining.

Our November 2010 open reading featured callers from Syracuse, NY, Newark, NJ, Columbus, OH, Lake Wells, FL, Calabasas, CA, Studio City, CA, Birmingham, AL, Long Beach, CA and Seattle, WA...including 2 of the winners of the 2010 Poetry Super Highway Contest. Check it out in the archive!

We announcec the winners of the 2010 Poetry Super Highway Poetry Contest in this live broadcast! It was a suspense-filled show which included a discussion of the Bahn Mi sandwich as well as words from our contest judges and 2 of the poets who scored in the top 10 positions called in live to read their poems.

Our September, 2010 Open reading consisted of callers from West Hollywood, Sonoma, Los Angeles and Santa Clarita, California, as well as Lake Wells Florida and Rockaway and Newark New Jersey. We had a great conversation with Gwen Beyer about the difference (or sameness of music and poetry) and even heard one of Rick Lupert's spoken word tracks at the end of the show. Check it out.
