    in preparation for any emergencies. As they arrive, Rayen expresses

    numbers from Chris that likely serve as the combination to his P.O. Box.
    They fear that their attackers may be waiting for them to retrieve the
    contents of the box. Despite their worries, they remain determined and
    enter the old Killingsworth Post Office. They encounter a janitor with a
    suspicious demeanor but continue on their path. While searching for
    P.O. Box 292, they are briefly interrupted by the janitor's attempted
    pickpocketing, which Braden swiftly thwarts. However, they soon realize
    that the cameras in the post office are shifting their view, suggesting
    the arrival of potential trouble. In a race against time, they locate
    Chris's box and find a labeled tape. As they try to make their escape,
    they are confronted by several armed individuals with silenced weapons.

    Throughout the night, Jonathan, Rayen, and Braden tirelessly prepare the

    Silversmith home for an impending confrontation. Jonathan volunteers to
    stay behind and guard the house, confident that their assailants won't
    return. Rayen and Braden express their gratitude and determination to
    end the situation. Braden quickly gathers essential items, including
    clothes, money, and a tomahawk, while Rayen reminds him to bring
    Shadowlash, disguised as an old credit card. Before setting off, they
    join in prayer. With their minds set on finding the tape and stopping
    the malicious men, they hit the road.

    to their previous discussions, and Chris provides the address for Rayen
    to retrieve it in case something happens to him. The chapter concludes,
    leaving the story to be continued.

    aided her. They question the identity of the assailants, and Rayen
    reveals that they were searching for something Chris had given her, but
    she solemnly informs them that Chris is now deceased.
