Point Break Minute

Pappas and Utah observe the surfers from the pier, then Utah tries it out and bails hard. Guest: Niall McGowan from Bat Minute ‘89 Recommendations: A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay, Into The Abyss, The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro

Pappas and Utah get a little carried away with the whole surfer thing, then head to the surf shop and get ridiculed by a 15-year-old boy. We get a little bit real discussing the tragic life of Christopher Pettiet, The Frog Prince. Guest: Niall McGowan from Bat Minute ‘89 Recommendations: Dael Kingsmill and Monarchs Factory, The Galapagos Affair, and Man of Aran. https://www.youtube.com/user/MonarchsFactory

Utah and Pappas discuss the surfer theory, and get even more into Mr. Zogs Sex Wax (Which we mistakenly refer to as Dr. Zogs). The music score makes its first appearance since the credits. We really get into Keanu’s career in this one. And then we talk about theatre for a while. Guest: Brad Mendenhall from Cosmic Geppetto Recommendations: 1989 Is Hell by Babetown, Slings and Arrows, and Waiting For Guffman

Pappas finally shares his theory with Utah. Yet more about butts. Jarf turns it around and interviews us. And, yes, we know the kinky stuff line is in the next minute. Our bad. Guests: Brad and Jarf from Cosmic Geppetto. Recommendations: Ghoulies, Hard Target & Hard Target 2, Ragnarok (Walt Simonson)

The Minute begins with Utah walking toward Pappas and ends with Pappas saying "Yeah..." We really dig into Busey in this episode, for better or worse. Better. Guests: Brad and Jarf from Cosmic Geppetto Podcast Recommendations: Monster Factory, Buffering The Vampire Slayer, Centralia

We begin with Utah saying "What's he talkin' about Angelo?" OK, we really mean it this time when we mark this podcast explicit. We discuss Mulholland, sweat, dicks, being a dick to children, Mr. Wizard, and Jimmy Hoffa. Guest: Helen Roundhill Recommendations: The Winter’s Tale (the play), Mulholland Drive, Excalibur, The Winter King, and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night.

Pappas and Utah continue viewing the security footage of the Ex-Presidents.

Minute starts with the man in the Reagan mask saying “so it’s not worth dying for” and ends with Keanu saying “good moves”.

Angelo Pappas jumps into the pool, and we cut to a bank heist.

Johnny Utah meets Angelo Pappas at a swimming pool.
