It's never good to sugar coat the truth, or refuse to tell our friend the truth to make themselves look like a fool. I also discuss that it's important to really be honest with advice we give our friends, so it can help them reflect, and so that they'll feel loved if they're a person who can accept honesty. If we're on the opposite end, it's best to take honest advice from people for when we're wrong, and not to encourage them to enable us while being in the wrong.
