Hooray! It's Episode 7 and we've made it to Cerulean City! It's a watery battle between Misty and Ash, with some nonsense from Team Rocket and a very cute Pikachu loving everyone and everything.

Anna and John get into a nice discussion about empathy, learn new terms like 'bird-dogging' and 'blue rose,' and try to rationalize if and/or why there are real animals in the Pokémon world.

Also Anna spoils Sailor Moon Season 1 a little bit.

Hey it's episode 6! It's time to explore Moon Viewing Mountain (Mt. Moon) and meet the Pippi (Clefairy). There's an odd scientist and a big explosion to boot!

Episode 5 y'all! We meet Brock, everyone's favorite rock type trainer… right? Also his weird dad who wears a fake beard for some reason?

Join Anna and John as they get way too worked up over the merits of a wooden shack with a water wheel, learn what a pickling rock is, and give the equivalent of a sideways thumbs up in response to Ash's first "win."

Episode 4 and we're still talking about bugs! Join Anna and John as they discuss and ask the important questions about an episode of a kids show they watched 20 years ago!

Why do bugs like Misty so much? Why is this samurai kid taking himself so seriously? How is a cocoon with eyes able to make Ash feel so bad about himself when he didn't really do anything wrong?

This episode is full of plosives because we're still learning. Apologies for any sensitive ears out there. Also plosives are a real thing and not a cute way to says explosives.
