In this episode, we have a very special guest! We’re joined by our fave Steffi (inn.my.humble.opinion) on YouTube. We cover music opinions and hot takes. We revisit our legend discussion and ask each other about the difference between an icon and a legend. Is the quality of music today getting worse? Who are some modern legends in today’s industry? The Weeknd? Bruno Mars? Do you agree or disagree with us?  As always like, share, & subscribe. Thanks for listening!

Welcome back! We have a lot to unpack and a lot to discuss this week. Have you listened to Billie Eilish's new album 'Happier Than Ever?' We cover the rise in Covid cases, the Delta variant, & “vaccine passports.” We give our thoughts on the Olympic Games and Simone Biles. Should mental health be treated like physical health? Did she have a responsibility to perform for her teammates? Would a male athlete be afforded the same treatment by the media? Other topics covered include social media accountability, identification requirements, questionable slavery engagement photos, and the newest celebrities added to the Forbes billionaires list (Rihanna). You guys still keeping that “eat the rich” energy now? All this and much more on another episode of Polar Opposites. Let us know what you think, talk back to the show!

Welcome back! We have a lot to talk about in today’s episode. There are so many weights that need to be lifted off our chests this week along with more listener questions! Iggy Azalea's new video sparked a conversation about blackfishing. Do people darken their skin to easily hop genres? Where do we draw the line between appropriation and appreciation?  Should the money Bill Cosby donated to charity be returned? We also discuss whether prison is meant for punishment or rehabilitation. When a person has paid their debt to society should they be absolved in the public eye? We get deep on this one guys. Let us know what you think, talk back to the show!

It’s a new episode and we have some things to get off our chest! We discuss Sha’Carri Richardson’s suspension from team USA for failing a drug test. Do you think she should be able to compete? Were people coddling her? This leads to a larger discussion on the Olympics and fairness in competition.  We talk about Bill Cosby being freed from prison, the support he's received from fans, and how we got to this point. Why do people think he's innocent? We didn’t forget to cover the fallout from the leaked Rachel Nichols audio. What should ESPN do with her? Is she a fake ally? We talk about these things and a lot more this week. Let us know what you think. Interact with the show!

Welcome, welcome, welcome as Justin would say! In today’s episode, we drag the great state of Texas in “Off My Chest.” We talk about Kevin Hart vs cancel culture and the “haters." We discuss Critical Race Theory and why people get it so wrong. Is Juneteenth being a national holiday the change we were asking for? There are interesting allegations being thrown towards Drake; is texting a teenager when you’re in your 30’s suspect? Finally, our main topic is Juneteenth! To celebrate, Justin and I discussed things Black people need to leave OUT of our community.

Welcome back! This week, we discuss Naomi Osaka and her withdrawal from the 2021 French Open (18:05) and how NBA fans have lost their minds. Do fans need to be banned? What should an athlete's relationship be like with the media? We also talk about Monique's recent comments regarding black representation in public and it opens a larger discussion about representation and how/when it matters (29:10). Is Tyler Perry good for the black community? Is Shaun King exploitative? As always we read and discuss a very interesting listener question (02:16)! Keep writing in so we can hear from you too! Welcome back! This week we play another round of Unpopular Opinions and we also go through some 'What Would You Do?' scenarios (26:52). Would you snitch on your friend for a million-dollar salary? Would you make an OnlyFans to pay some medical bills? We talk about current events such as the CDC lifting mask mandates for those who are vaccinated, congress and the January 6th commission, & the 2021 Billboard Awards (16:01). Communication is key, you’ll notice in this episode, a heated disagreement takes place but we felt it necessary to add an addendum to the episode to clear the air (1:06:17). We are called Polar Opposites for a reason! We also read some interesting listener questions (06:57). Keep writing in so we can hear from you too! Don’t be afraid to reach out.
