The Democratic Socialists of America have released their 2026 platform, “Workers Deserve More,” and in this episode of Political Bomb Show, Ra’ Sean Blyden breaks down some of its most sweeping proposals with sarcasm, skepticism, and plenty of disbelief.
The platform calls for major structural changes to the American system, including abolishing the U.S. Senate, eliminating the Electoral College, replacing the presidency with a legislature-selected premier, restructuring the courts, abolishing ICE, expanding freedom of movement, changing policing and prisons, expanding public ownership, and other dramatic reforms.
Ra’ Sean examines what those proposals could mean for checks and balances, federal power, individual rights, immigration enforcement, private property, public safety, and the constitutional structure of the country.
Are these simply ambitious long-term socialist goals, or a blueprint for fundamentally remaking the United States?
This episode takes the DSA’s stated platform head-on, with the usual Political Bomb Show mix of commentary, humor, sarcasm, and political analysis.
