Gail Hoff Brown is a conservative working mother, journalist, and military spouse. She most recently served alongside her husband Scott Brown as president Donald Trump’s ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa. While in New Zealand, she was elected to serve as President of the Diplomatic Spouses Association. She is also a grandmother with a lifelong career of service. She worries about the future of our nation under the Biden Administration, which is intent on eroding our freedoms at home and our strength around the globe. I met Gail many years ago, as she was a journalist at one of the larger Boston TV stations, and I was always amazed by her charisma, beauty, intellect, and interest, as well as how well she always portrayed the stories that she was reporting on. She is running for Congress in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District to challenge a liberal Democrat, take back the seat, and make sure that a little bit of New England sees some red.

Today, Gail joins me to be the voice for strong conservative women. She discusses the consequences of how the Biden Administration is handling Covid-19, explains why spending more isn’t the solution, and shares her thoughts on the vaccine mandate, particularly when it comes to children. She tells the story of how she became interested in journalism, points out the condescension of many vaccine mandate supporters, and emphasizes the need to reinstill depleted trust and hope. She points out that conservative women in particular have been silenced and urges them to speak up.

People are resigning from their jobs in high numbers for many reasons. They’ve gotten used to working at home, they like the unemployment checks, their views of themselves have changed, and they’re reevaluating. But mostly, they’re burned out.

Today, I talk about the Great Resignation. I discuss the harm that it’s causing, and I note that we’re becoming a wimpy society. I discuss burnout, noting that people are ready to be done with the mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and many other Covid precautions. I point out that life has to go on.

Sean Spicer is the 28th White House Press Secretary. Political polarization is out of control in America. Both sides are guilty of it, and there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight. So how do we break through it and start making constructive headway? 

Today, I talk about what’s behind all of the polarization and how we can move past it. I point out that we tend to vote for fun candidates with catchy rhetoric, treating them more like celebrities than elected officials. I explain why this tendency is where many of our problems come from, and I talk about what to look for in a candidate instead of rhetoric.

Matt Keswick is one of my best friends of over 20 years. He is the president of Keswick Consulting, a Boston-based government relations and business development firm dedicated to helping organizations achieve maximum results when pursuing public policy objectives. Prior to founding Keswick Consulting, Matt worked for three Massachusetts governors, where he held several high-ranking personnel and policy positions. The new year is coming, and the trajectory of the one we’re leaving isn’t hopeful. But if we take action, we have the power to make a difference.

Today, I share my overview of the 2021 political situation. I offer my take on January 6 and I note that Biden was not unifying at all in his commencement speech. I call out his reversal of the Trump-era policies, which, despite complaints about the man himself, were good for our country. I point out that Biden has put women in sports at a disadvantage, paid people not to work, and spent what he considers to be a compromise of $1.2 trillion on infrastructure. I point out the rampant inflation, I ask where the “under God” part of our Pledge of Allegiance went, and I call on you to make a difference.

Brett Miller was introduced to me by Matt Keswick, a friend diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease 8 years ago who took charge of it and discovered the power of exercise. In his research, Matt met Brett, a physical therapist and the founder and owner of 110 Fitness. His mission is to inspire wellness through adaptive fitness, setting a new standard in the fightback against Parkinson’s Disease through holistic and fitness-based approaches, as well as breaking down barriers for adults and children who are limited by disease or disability by sharing his exceptional mental and physical training and conditioning experience. He is a licensed physical therapist with 26 years of experience in all settings, as well as a US Army veteran who served as a combat medic trainer for Special Operations and oversaw the construction and development of the DEPMEDS for the US Army. He is also the recent author of It’s a Beautiful Day to Save Lives:  A Medic’s Journey to His Destiny.

Today, Brett joins me to talk about his story, his fitness center, and his book. He shares his approach to self-care in the midst of stress, explains what 110 Fitness is, and tells the story of what pushed him in that direction. He shares a bit about how people hear about it, and he talks about the urgency brought on by COVID-19 and how he pivoted to adapt. He shares some research on the power of high-intensity interval training in mitigating the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. He talks about the experience and purpose of writing his book, shares the first piece of advice he always gives to someone struggling in their head with a problem, and talks about the story of his mission in Bosnia.
