This week brought us the First Presidential Debate. While we thought we were going to hear some of Romney's famed ZINGERS, we instead got an immediate pledge to shut down Big Bird and Sesame Street when Romney promised to pull government funding for PBS. The result was immediate on twitter with a call to puppet arms for a Million Muppet March. We decided to give you this debate uninterrupted and in-full this time. Stay tuned, as we analyze the polls later in the week to see how this Sesame Street Showdown will affect the upcoming election.

It seems the Romney-Ryan honeymoon is all but over. Right now, Ryan is calling Romney "the stench", while the Romney camp is referring to Ryan as Gilligan. One thing is for sure, our little buddy, Bob Denver, is rolling in his grave. We have poll numbers from the famed Nate Silver of fivethirtyeight, that says Obama will receive 320 electoral votes, which makes this race all but over. With 40 days to go, it is going to be a long green mile for that Romney Camp.

This week we have the devastating notion that the Romney Campaign is unraveling at the seams. Between his foreign policy gaff that he had to release on the night of 9-11 and the video of his fundraiser where he shows nothing but contempt for his voting public, this man is toast. On Wednesday this week at the DNC, we were privileged to witness one of the most dynamic speeches in the past 20 years. Bill Clinton stepped on stage and captivated us with a policy speech that systematically dismembered the republicans fact-free attacks on Obama. This is something special, and 20 years from now, we will watch this speech again with the same awe and splendor that we experienced the first time we heard it.

This week we got together to play MST3000 with the Mitt Romney speech at the RNC in Tampa. Like a used car salesman, he got his chance to sell us on all his ideas. To our dismay, all he was missing was his ideas. This was the most charismatic we have ever seen him though, and he sounded more presidential than we ever expected.

We've been on the air for one full year, and every week it only get stranger. With one week before the RNC convention, republicans are now arguing over the proper definition of rape. Oh, aren't they just charming little creatures.
