Jennifer Briney, the host of our favorite podcast Congressional Dish, joins us once again for round two. Two questions asked, and a dozen solid answers on how we can progressively change for the better. How do we take the money out of the system? And better yet... How do we get the youth vote out to the polls. Because if this generation between the ages of 18-35 years old actually showed up to vote, they would out number the baby boomers and the senior vote combined.

Calling in from Boston as a contributor to the show, we got an up-front civics lesson from host and creator of our favorite show on the internet. This is the first episode in a series of upcoming shows we will have featuring Jennifer. Chuck Hagel was finally confirmed as our Secretary of Defense this week. This comes after a rather contemptuous confirmation hearing where John McCain tried to rewrite the war in Iraq and re-litigate the Vietnam War. This brought us to a larger conversation which revolved around our recent history of getting into wars without even knowing how we got there to begin with. We drop a little knowledge and walk our way down memory lane, this week on Political Discontent Radio.

If there was ever an episode of Political Discontent Radio that you do not want to miss, it is this week. In the spirit of Andy Kaufman's alter ego, Herman Cain is about to get a show on Fox News. This man is so offensive that it went full circle from being offensive to pure comedy. In the Second Segment, we downshift from the funny to the all too serious. The former Navy SEAL who personally was the one who shot Bin Laden, left the special forces after 16 years. Despite slipped disks in his spine and a body riddled with scare tissue from bullet wounds, apparently he hasn't done enough for this country. So now he is left without a pension and the Navy dropped the medical coverage for his family. If that is how we treat the real heroes in this world, this is a very sick country. And we don't toss that word HERO around lightly. Good to be back in the studio doing what we love. This is Political Discontent Radio.

This week is an absolute carnival. We have North Korea popping off another nuke. The Senate blocked Chuck Hagel's nomination as SecDef, so we are now a country at war without the secretary of war... charming. The former Hitler-youth Nazi Pope resigned. And LAPD burned down a cabin finally killing a psychopathic ex-cop with an arsenal of guns and a hit list. Did I miss anything?? Oh yeah, Syria is a nightmare and Obama gave the State of the Union address. This is the week that was - here on Political Discontent Radio.

The word for the day is TROLLS. As brought to you by Rachel Maddow. Our news got cancelled this week because of multiple sports scandals, and it seems to have been replaced by Inside Edition and TMZ. So we are going to knock it out of the park... You see what I just did there?

Kevin's Back!!! And he wants to discuss gun control. Been there, done that, and out-crazied the crazies. But Kevin is insistent on trying to take a swing at it himself. What about progressive legislation to help regulate a marketplace that sells military weapons to civilians that live in densely populated areas?? What about that is going too far? Just send the hate-mail to Kevin.

We already crashed a ski lodge. And it's the 'Festivus For The Rest Of Us' show and tell. We recorded a show on location 12-25-12, and it's fun and games for everyone. Rachel tells what it is like to be hit on while working at a book store, and Loren tells what it is like to be always treated like a piece of meat.

It is 12-20-12 and that means only one thing... you have only hours till the Zombie Apocalypse or as we call it - The Cosmological SuperBowl of Lunacy - descends on all of us.
