Right-wing podcaster Steven Crowder, who is getting a divorce, recently highlighted the fact that in Texas, no-fault divorce is permitted, making it sound like the state is an outlier, but in fact, all 50 states and the District of Columbia have no-fault divorce laws. Researchers who tracked the emergence of no-fault divorce laws state by state over the past four decades found that reform led to dramatic drops in the rates of female suicide and domestic violence.
