It is fascinating how the United States (and many other Western nations) have become more concerned about foreigners than their own citizens. I guess this is not surprising when you believe that half your citizens are white nationalists or racists. The definition of white nationalist has become so broad. If you like Trump, if you want border security, if you want immigration decreased, you are a nationalist or racist. By these standards, the rest of the world must be psychotic. China sends some of their own citizens to concentration camps for re-education, for sterilization, and commit other human rights abuses. In America, the standard for racism is simply difference of opinion and preferring to invest in those closest to you. Joe has decided that his priorities are not in bringing forward a Covid relief bill for the American people.

A largely pro-Trump crowd, of about a few hundred people, at the US Capitol, stormed the fence, fought with officers, and gained entry. Four people ended up dead after it was all over. Trump was accused of inciting the violence by rivals despite not telling supporters to anything of the sort. Large crowds of Trump supporters were in DC for #StoptheSteal and the majority were not involved. We try to make sense of everything that happened.

And, the Democrats now have full control...the Presidency, the House, and now the Senate. The Dems won both seats in Georgia to make it 50-50 in the Senate with the tie-breaking vote going to the in-coming Vice President, Kamala Harris. What does this mean policy wise?

Texas Attorney General has sued four states (Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) and 17 other States have now joined the lawsuit. The State of Texas made the following statement: 
"the defendant states exploited the COVID-19 pandemic to justify unlawfully enacting last-minute changes and ignoring both federal and state election laws, thus skewing the results of the 2020 General Election. ”

Governor Newsom has many business interests. While he did put the businesses in a blind trust when taking political office, his many businesses are lead by his sister. These companies have gotten favorable treatment in terms of financial support compared to the average company..in the magnitude of 7 to 8 times more.

The mainstream media are reporting (based on a comment by Trump) that he will run in 2024. We discuss if this idea has merit.

CNN, in particular its top boss, Jeff Zucker, has been exposed by Project Veritas. CNN threatened legal action against journalist James O’Keefe on Tuesday after Project Veritas announced that they had spied into daily calls for months of CNN head Jeff Zucker.

Finally, Progressives cannot get along with the more mainstream/establishment Dems. Some Progressives took to Twitter to criticize Obama's comment that 'defund the police' was a bad slogan and that it did not help the Dems at the polls.
