This episode is with PJ Agness in Minnesota. He's an intelligence and self defense specialist. We talked about the Derek Chauvin case and verdict, the 16 year old girl shot by police, social media and society, banning guns, a Senator having a gun give-away, the Jan 6th insurrection, (he has a very interesting take on that topic).
Tanya Hawkins of Gung Ho Ministries talks with me about her organizations helping local Veterans. From giving out sandwiches to helping Vets get housing. Her boutiques business, cash donations, clothing donations, how it all comes together. Wait until you hear how much her little charity has donated, amazing! She is some happy and bubbly it's infectious. We even got some politics in there based on the homeless topic as well. I hope you find some useful information to use in your city to help your homeless Vets. NO VETS should be homeless!Do what you can to help, via financial or volunteer.
This show was recorded on Sat. the 6th of Feb.
This was the 1st show with the new format. Some politics and some feel good stuff.
My guest was Jason Stoker, host of a new Podcast called High Intellectual Stupidity. He's in Kansas City, MO. area and works for the school district. We chatted about what's happening in the schools concerning COVID, remote learning. How KC as a city handling the pandemic. Of course we talked about his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, some players about all the charitable good they do for for their community. We even delved into some politics a little bit.
Show was recorded on Sat. Jan. 16th.
Returning guest and friend, Papa Geoff from Papa Geoff's America. We discuss the desecration of the Capitol in DC, COVID vaccinations, freedom of speech, the NRA "bankruptcy"Trump leaving and new exciting new formats for both our shows. And just in case you somehow missed my editing screw up, sorry about that. I really don't enjoy myself talking THAT much!
Season 2, Episode 1 is with Greg Hunts. An eclectic, non conforming, slightly out there homosapein with an innate ability to find amusing in the oddest of places. He brings an interesting take on some political topics de jour and adds some of the odd things he's reading these days, which might explain a few things. Is AI going to take over the world??? That's a topic today.
Just going over a few big topics of 2020. Elections, COVID, Stimulus Bill, idiocies of our elected officials and some suggestions of how we can make it better.
I'm also discussing how I want to change the show up a little and need your help doing it.
Please listen and rate my show on your format. Write me as well with your likes and dislikes about my show, only way I can try to improve it is getting the criticism as well as attaboys.
A just me thinking out loud episode. Topics include the election, new President, Electoral College, voter fraud, COVID -19 and of course a bad dad joke.
Alexander"stopped" by to discuss his take on politics and religion with me. I learned what form of religion I am (no I'm not an Atheist) and we chatted about recent events in Washington and politicians and a couple of "pastors" got called out. Xander as I call him, is a college grad majoring in psychology with interest in Theology and a Millennial (try not to hold that against him, I do that enough), who as an interesting take on the subject. I'm sure, at least I hope, you'll enjoy as much as I did. I will have Xander back for more I'm sure.

This episode i s a great topic of politics & science or the lack there of. Dan and I chatted about science and the current administration, psychology in regards to why factions/groups take on a certain "uniformed" tack on a subject, social media, regular media, climate change, COVID-19. It was a fascinating topic with much information and interesting facts. Dan was a great person to have on this topic. I think and hope you enjoy listening to him as much as I did. Amazes me that a crayon eating Marine is so smart! As always please write me if you have any questions or comments you want to leave for Dan or myself.
***** Dan realized that he mixed some #’s up and wanted to clarify:
Also, I later realized during the show (but forgot to get back to it) is I mixed up some statistics in my head. 90-something percent of climate doubt does not come from conservatives. It is predominantly from right-leaning folks. I got this figure mixed up--I apologize. Per Gallup (2019), 41% of conservatives are cool skeptics, 35% "mixed middle," and 25% are "concerned believers." Among moderates, 11% are "cool skeptics," 33% "mixed middle" and 56% are "concerned believers." Among liberals, 1% are "cool skeptics," 18% are "mixed middle," and 81% are concerned believers." (link in the comments). Of those polled in this study, 397 were conservative, 235 moderate, and 267 were liberal. This means that among the "cool skeptics" about 80% are conservative. My bad. Episode 2 is with Norman Booth starting off talking about unions, his in particular, the politics of unions, getting youth into the trades and then his politics in general including Socialism, healthcare and more. His dog even got in on the act with his thoughts (we are still trying to decipher those). I hope you enjoy!
