My prediction for the 2020 presidential election. Hope everyone has a fantastic election day! May your candidate win, and if they don't........ We will vote again in 4 years, so don't worry!
Do you understand the Electoral College? I am going to explain the electoral college, how it works, the history, and why we don't have to worry about it going away. The election is only a week away, hope you are ready!
People also say the U.S hasn't done enough to make testing available for Americans. I will layout the statistics for countries and their testing and we will see if America isn't doing enough, but I have to warn you, we are doing way better than almost any other country in the world. Hope you go out and vote, but please don't just vote on party lines, look at what the candidates support.
Podcasts will be released on Fridays starting after the election. If you would like to be a guest on the show or have any comments or questions, please email [email protected]. Have a great day and rest of the week!
This episode goes over the final presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. This debate went a lot smoother than the first one and we got a lot more from each of the candidates. In this episode, we talked about COVID 19, National Security, Healthcare, Aid for COVID, Race in America, and Climate Change. If you didn't get a chance to watch the last debate, please do, it was really good.
I interviewed my first guest, who happens to be only 14 years old. I wanted to see what the younger generation thinks of what is going on in today's politics. Jacob, my guest, pays more attention to politics than most people his age, and considering he will be old enough to vote in our next election, I wanted to get his opinion on things going on. We talk about why he decided to get into politics, the vice presidential debate, the commission on presidential capacity, and California Politics. I wish the younger generation was more informed when it comes to politics. Most of the younger generation get all their information on social media, similar to adults. This is scary because social media only shows you information that keeps your attention, meaning most people are only hearing one side of the conversation. We should strive to understand all sides of the argument because otherwise you are uninformed and can come off ignorant. If you understand the other side of the conversation and you debate someone, it means you can use their arguments and include them in your own points, showing you understand the whole situation and are taking into account all sides when making your opinion of a topic. Hope you enjoy this podcast, for all questions and concerns please contact Dustin at [email protected].
Did you get to watch the debate? Then you might know what I mean when I say it was a disaster! It took me a lot of time to dive into what was actually discussed because of all the interruptions. I go over many areas in this podcast, including who I think won and why, my opinion of statements made, and what I thought of the debate as a whole. If you have any questions or concerns you can email [email protected]. If you liked the show, please leave a review and comment so others can find the podcast easier. Thanks!
