Poolside Chats

Welcome back to our lovely poolside fun. Today we are going to bring you the first ever episode of Poolside Chats that was ever recorded. The reason this episode was held back was because as in anything in life, there is a learning curve when first starting out. And we learned first hand that recording audio outdoors is not easy! So rather than to put out bad audio on the first ever listen, we wanted to get up and running a bit first. So please be understanding when listening to this episode that this isn't our typical audio quality.

But enough of the semantics... let's get to our guest. Today we speak to Nik Flair of East Cleveland, OH. Nik is a rapper, a songwriter, a movie producer, a graphic designer and much much more. Today we poured up some Henny and spoke to Nik about being an immigrant from Jamaica, moving from Montego Bay to East Cleveland to Columbus and eventually to LA. Also about how got started in each of his creative fields. There is even some conversation about the gang culture in LA, meeting some pretty well known gang members and even a porn star or two.

So sit back, pour up your favorite cognac and listen in as we talk about life in Hollywood. And an extra special salute goes out to Flair for blessing us with his hit single "Nino Brown" to use for the intro music for this show. If you want to keep in contact with him, hit his social medias at @NikFlair every f*ckin where!

Poolside Chats is back again today with our lovely guest Autumn. She is an artist in every single sense of the word. Painting, songwriting, singing, makeup... etc. Autumn sits down with us today to discuss how she got started in her artistic roots, her involvement with Black Lives Matter, political thoughts... oh and let's not forget about that one time she helped out with a porn film.

Sit back, have a drink or two and listen in with The Painted Lady of LA.

I've decided to start doing one or two bonus episodes a week. The bonus episodes will not be my traditional format of sitting down with a guest and talking about them and their story. The bonus episodes will be solo, short episodes and just my thoughts on whatever current issue happened to hit us that particular week.

This week, two issues struck a personal nerve with me. Both the NFL "protests" as well as the scandals rocking NCAA basketball. So I just quickly through out some of my thoughts on everything. So please, take a half hour out of your day and have a listen! Thanks as always for tuning in, and also... Like, Comment, Subscribe, Share!!!

Poolside Chats is back with our first full episode post!! We skipped up to Episode 4 to post first because of a few audio issues with the first couple of episodes. They will still be posted, but as bonus episodes at a later date.

But back to our guest of the hour! Shea Harris... actress, director, producer, cool hair haver, lightweight drinker, podcaster and so much much much more. We discuss her Houston roots, her travels to LA, her stance on big social issues and she gets a little tipsy and refuses to incriminate herself on my podcast. So tune into her podcast and maybe she'll do it on there. The Dive Podcast.
