Tom started his career working as a VFX artist but eventually made the transition to working in live action films in Hollywood for a long time. He eventually grew tired of the politics and atmosphere within working on big sets and moved all the way to Pennsylvania and started a YouTube channel focused on film making techniques and gear.

Kenny Screven takes us through his journey of self discovery that got him to where he is now and how he dealt with disapproving parents and how he slowly built up the confidence to truly be himself. He also tells us how he got into doing Youtube and Instagram with his best friend Gabi Demartino, and what its like being a social media influencer . He tells us how he helps young people in the LGBT community through Project Silk and helps them feel more confident being themselves as they discover who they are.
