Jared Sokirka had a very roundabout way of ending up where he is now but not a minute of it was wasted. From being a lobster fisherman to working on David Rockefeller's private island, Jared really did a little bit of everything eventually ending up working in Video doing editing, camera work, performing stunts and anything else they need him to do. JB Earl joins us this week on the Poorly Edited Podcast and walks us through how important lighting is to any video production and how he approaches it. From lighting aliens on spaceships to making it look like sunlight is naturally streaming through a window lighting in movies is as much of an exercise in technical skill as it is in realizing the appropriate look for a scene to give it the right feel. There's plenty to learn from JB so sit back, relax, and let the cool light of your LED screen wash over you.
