Wow. Well hasn't it been a hot minute. Sorry everyone for taking a bit of a break there, it's just that it has been a very busy last little while. Fortunately, we have a chip on our shoulders and we are getting back to do what we do best.... Rambling about movies and drinking coffee.
Declan and Richard finally talk about the 2007 film Once by the illustrious John Carney. We have some interesting points to be made, and we look forward to getting back into the swing of things.
As always, thanks for tuning in!

Hello and welcome once again to another awesome and very interesting episode of the podcast! We've hit over 100 plays amongst all the episodes on the channel here and we are so thrilled that people continue to tune in each and every week to listen to what we have to babble on about. We sincerely appreciate it!
Also, thank you all for being patient. It's been a long two weeks, but we managed and we knew we had to get through whatever work was on our plate to get here now and sort this out. So here we are again! Declan and Richard once again embark on another tantalizing episode of movie news and we speak on some very relevant subjects that are going on. We end off by talking about the film of the week, Lebanon (2009), which was a very hard movie to get through, just purely because of the subject matter. But nonetheless, we finished the film and cannot wait for you to hear our thoughts on it.
As always, thanks for tuning in!

WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE. Ladies and gents this is the 12th episode. We have made it this far and I am so happy we continue to chug along at this brisk pace.
Welcoming to this weeks podcast is none other than our wonderful companions and close friends Austin MacDonald and Rachael Zerafa. We have a wonderful time going over David Lynch's first foray into feature film making with Eraserhead. We also go on to catch up a little bit, find out how to enjoy Christmas with some Amaretto and Coke as well as what's new in the world of movies and filmmaking news.
As always, thanks for tuning in!

Well here we are once again. It's a bright shimmering Monday morning, and the stench of burnt coffee wreaks in the air. Two avid film nerds explore the intricacies of a well known period piece known thus as THE PRIDE AND PREJUDICE.
As Declan and Rich embark on their journey to discover what they've been missing out on for the last 15 years, they also contrive one of their longest episodes by elaborating on some of the latest and greatest in film news... Some of which will really prove to be important in the future of film making in North America, and the Hollywood system, more specifically.
Thanks for tuning in and as we mentioned, we will be having two very special guest appearances hopefully next week!

EPISODE 10! The podcast strikes back. CONGRATS EVERYONE! We've made it 10 episodes in, and for our milestone, we've added a guest onto the show (from a comfortable distance) and had an awesome time having her indulge us in her movie knowledge and expertise. Ladies and gentlemen - Sam Tong, as one of our most valued listeners, she made a late night appearance for the recording of this episode. Something we'd love to do as often as we can!
In this episode, Richard, Declan, and Sam all talk about news, catch up, and talk about Ida. We had a wonderful time and really hope she can make it back onto the show sometime soon!

Quarantine to the max ladies and gents. Richard and Declan back at it again with the white vans. Sorry for old VINE references. We worked hard to finally get in touch with one another again for this lovely episode where we once again talk about... surprise! MOVIES.
Hello Jon Favreau. We sincerely appreciate you. You have brought us so much lovable and memorable adventures throughout the years and we are excited to go over your humble beginnings. Apologies for the short episode, but due to NDA's Richard has decided to cut out a fair bit of material from this episode. Sorry folks. We'll just have more stories for the future. UNTILLLL THENNNNN

Sorry for all the chatter in the background. We recorded live once again, which we hope to more often in the future. As things seem to clear up the world goes slightly more back to normal each day, we are trying our best to keep you guys informed, as well as record on time and it just happens that the only real spaces we have to record are usually in our homes, which evidently are not sound-proof studios. One can only hope, but it is what it is.
Happy to see one another again in person, Richard went to Declan's and discussed the latest and greatest with streaming services, The BM Ursa 12K camera, and how TENET is causing the world of movie theatres a bunch of headache. The two then went on to talk about the well reviewed documentary SENNA.
Next week, we will discuss the directorial debut by Jon Favreau, Made.
Can't wait to talk about it and get in touch as more news unravels each and everyday. Again if you want to skip to the movie talk - please fast forward to 00:30:22 roughly and that should do the trick.

Ladies and Gentlemen - it's that time of the week again. Blood Machines stole our hearts with its trailer and convinced us this was going to be the end all be all of cyberpunk synth wave films. Little did we realize there's quite the story behind this and we want YOU to hear what we have to say.
Also - never made mention of this, but SHUDDER streaming service is a lot of fun and I highly recommend for anyone that is looking for a curated streaming service that caters to mostly Horror and Revenge genre films.
We go into the new war plans for the Cineplex Cinematic Universe, Canon's Lineup of weaponized consumer mirrorless cameras, and a slew of new lenses once more. If you want to go straight into the review of the Blood Machines - feel free to skip ahead to 00:32:52.
Next week, we will be watching a documentary and exploring the acclaimed film Senna. If you want to follow along, you can find it on Tubi.tv or AmazonPrime.

Sorry Rowley, we've taken over the show!
This week Declan and Richard go over some of the recent news involving Atomos, celeb news, Diversity in the Academy and our thoughts on why the Key Grip deserves an Oscar.
Our big film talk this week is for the Netflix Original film: The Polka King, starring none other than the man school of rock god himself, Jack Black. Directed by Maya Forbes, the film came out in 2017 and features an interesting arrangement of funny characters and unfortunate circumstances.
If you want to skip to the talk of the film feel free to jump into the podcast at the 27:00 mark.
Next week, we want to try and go to the far extremes of the strange and obscure for our pick. We bring to you, none other than the original short series by Shudder Blood Machines. The short 60 minute series remains to be one of the most unique things we've ever encountered and the infectious Carpenter Brut score has us drooling to check it out. Feel free to check it out with us, and let us know your thoughts. The trailer can be found here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLHhr8Xc4AM.
