Popcorn Podcast

In this post holiday special Chad and Izola talk about their weeks, we learn why Chad is not a fan of Germans, Thanksgiving food or hot greasy things on his palms, but got cheered up with some holiday shopping.  A lot of randomness in this episode especially once #poopsock is brought up which oddly fascinates Izola, and for some weird reason Chad cannot remember the name of Tom Cruises latest movie #livedierepeat.  So sit back, relax and enjoy

This week the gang welcomes special guest Garfield Wilson (Almost Human, Arrow, Once Upon a Time) to the show.  Get caught up with Garfield, what he’s been up to, Longmire is back, and how can die from the ice bucket challenge?  Garfield treats us to some live music and finally, hide your kids, hide your wife cuz Bill Cosby is rapin everyone up in here.

Chad and Izola welcome back guest host Ricardo from @thefilmpodcast to complete the cycle of television and films that do hold up, the gang discusses their favorite movies and television shows that still hold up today.  Find out what the crew has been up to, why the European Union wants Ricardo for questioning, why he hates Christmas, and why it may be ok to mace or shoot someone in a movie theater for being uppity.

This week Chad and Izola discuss The Walking Dead, Blacklist, Sons of Anarchy, Gotham and their weekend at Stan Lee’s Comikaze.  Chad and Lorelei got a chance to sit down with Bryan Johnson from Tell Em Steve Dave and Comic Book Men for a fun Popcorn Pod interview.

This week the crew is joined by none other than the EIC and founder of FanboyNation himself R.C. Samo.  They discuss the upcoming Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo, Magic Mike Part II as well as their own homoerotic sexual overtones.  They were all over the map this week also discussing Arrow, The Flash, The Walking Dead and much more, strap in for a few laughs and find out if Chad is still in the closet.  Chad and R.C. also give us a little preview of what’s in store for FanboyNation.com and its future plans.

Last but certainly not least part of the FanboyNation family was hurt in an accident recently and needs your help.  Here is a letter from our Senior Editor Carl.

Hi Friends and Family,

Our beloved bearded gentleman, Eric Jansson, was in a severe motorcycle accident. A SUV collided with his Harely and left him with a compound fracture.  Due to his injury, he won’t be up on his feet for several weeks. He has already had one surgery and is expected to have another sometime this week. Although the severity of his injuries,  Eric is in good spirits and he is still smiling.  Although Eric does have medical insurance, the expense of two surgeries and the weeks it will take him to recover will be costly. If you could help in anyway, I would be completely indebted to you.

On behalf of Eric, thank you for all of your support and well wishes.
