'I wish I had another PopPartisan episode!' *Poof* Anthony and Sam explore how the premiers and presidents of the USSR and USA (respectively) would've handled their way through the Cold War with a little bit of magic a la Butch Hartman's Fairly OddParents. Hear Sam (acting as Reagan) spill the beans on the gipper's inner dialog. Listen to Anthony rage against the irresponsibility of Timmy Turner and his irresponsible grip on space and time. 

Anthony rips off Sam's idea from last episode to discuss how the events in "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" sway Charlie Kelly left and right, much like in Muppet Babies. We ultimately land on what party Charlie would be a "card-carrying member" of. Warning: Sam does his Charlie impression, so be ready to fast-forward through that part.

This week, Sam and Anthony change up the podcast a bit and discuss whether Homer Simpson is a Democrat or a Republican. Using a pseudo-mathematical approach and a one-sided enthusiasm for the 31-year-old show, we decide what political party Homer would belong to as a “card carrying member.”

Is this the episode where we strap nuclear bombs to dinosaurs? How are Iguanadons and ICBMs similar? Do the disasters from the dino movies mirror the almost-catastrophes around atomic weapons? Anthony reads at you, and Sam struggles to say dinosaur names. 

Can fictional trains from the early 20th century teach us a thing or two about clean energy transition? Or do we just learn more about how self-aware trains are brutally destroyed at the end of their time on the tracks? You'll never really know unless you listen to this episode. 

Sam and Anthony explore the strange corollary (or lack thereof) between superheroes (from the MCU) and unions--both how the power dynamics make collective bargaining unnecessary and whether or not superheroes would be union busters. There's some other stuff in there, too, but it's not as important probably. 

Does the Pokemon universe share parallels to modern warfare? Do humans make Pokemon into tools of war? In our inaugural episode of PopPartisan, we do our best to tackle these questions, but the problem is it's been years since either of us have played rugby.
