For this week’s episode, we explore the 9th season of American Horror Story. This season is subtitled 1984, and focuses on a group of counselors at a summer camp. Before we dive into AHS, we provide news surrounding a recently Released Kevin James movie that may surprise you, a new Nicholas Cage movie coming to Shudder, and new movie Neve Campbell will not be a part of, sadly. During trivia we see if Counselor John can continue his first ever Peak Streak. The main discussion consists of a dive into all aspects of AHS summer camp season, including our dislikes, what worked, thoughts on the 80’s soundtrack, and our thoughts on the series overall. For the Watchlist this week we recommend an album, an eerie movie on Prime, a remake of a childhood favorite, and one of our counselors finally jumps on the bandwagon. This week we kick off our 2 month long summer camp series, Camp Porcelain Peak! We’ll have scary stories, chills and thrills for children, a new roulette, and so much more fun in the sun. We kick things off with news about Joe Bob Briggs, the next Universal Monster movie, and more from the Upgrade universe. As we jump into trivia, we see where the crown will land. The results might shock you!. Our main discussion consists of another Roulette episode, but this time the traumatizing childhood favorite Are You Afraid of the Dark is on the chopping block. We dive into 3 episodes and share our thoughts on the series overall and briefly discuss the reboot. Our main discussion consists of recounting this unsolved true crime tale. We discuss the ins and outs of the phantom killer, and both movies inspired by the crimes—The Town That Dreaded Sundown.
