  • Study Finds Pornography Destroying a Generation of Youth
According to police reports over the past three years, a new study finds over 5,000 offences of under-18-year-olds commit child sexual abuse. The findings received from probation inspectors in February 2013 found police, social workers and teachers were missing the warning signs that a child may sexually offend. The study concludes pornography & sexual promiscuity are destroying a generation of young people. The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) is reporting that from 2009 to 2012 over 5,000 sexual assaults in England involved a child perpetrator raping or sexually assaulting another child. Of the cases reported, 98 percent of the perpetrators were boys, 20 percent of the victims were a family member, and one third of the victims were a family friend. From the youngest age, children mimic what they see. If they see sex acts, many children naturally practice these life changing acts on vulnerable infants and children nearby. “The offending children are ordinarily not aiming to do harm but rather to act ‘grown up’ as they practice the fascinating, toxic stimuli adult society has coldheartedly loosed into their developmental environment,' said Judith Reisman visiting professor at Liberty University School of Law. “We are allowing the cannibalization of our children,” said Reisman. “Thanks to the latest advances in neuroscience, we now know that pornographic visual images imprint and alter the brain, triggering an instant, involuntary, but lasting, biochemical memory trail. And once new neurochemical pathways are established, they are difficult or impossible to delete,” Reisman said.

  • Victorian Prudishness and Christian Sex Manuals
How to destroy marital intimacy…people talk about it all the time in explicit, scientific, and pornographic terms. There is a reason that Song of Songs is presented in metaphoric, poetic language. There is a special modesty about the language. But this has virtually disappeared in the modern age. What about the Christian how-to manuals or Mark Driscoll’s new addition to the mix? Kevin Swanson encourages a healthy, biblical handling of marital intimacy issues.

  • Boycott The Media
CBS, CNN, Fox, USA Today, and other mainstream media sources are becoming FILTHY. These outlets are becoming almost pornographic. We are to put no evil thing before our eyes. We need to BOYCOTT these evil, corrupt images that are being portrayed in the mainstream media. Lust, Adultery, Fornication, Bi-Sexuality, Transexuality and every other imaginable licentious behaviour is promoted and broadcasted every hour, twenty-four hours a day.

  • The Source of Temptation
You are fighting sexual temptation, and a married person makes advances toward you. You are fighting an attraction to alcohol, and your company requires you to attend a conference where the liquor will be flowing freely. You are fighting an attraction to pornography, and you discover that the hotel at which your company's conference is held has pornographic films available in your room. You are struggling with your temper, and you are cut off in traffic by a big black limousine---with tinted windows, and government tags, and a bumper sticker that reads: 'I'm spending your children's inheritance.' Are these TRIALS, or TEMPTATIONS? James says, in effect, THEY ARE NOT TEMPTATIONS UNLESS WE MAKE THEM TEMPTATIONS, and we make them temptations by succumbing to the sinful proclivities, the sinful tendencies of our own hearts. 'Let no one say, when he is tempted, I am tempted by God.' Each of the situations we mentioned could be a POSITIVE FORCE IN YOUR LIFE, DEPENDING ON HOW YOU RESPOND TO IT. It could actually assist in your sanctification. These experiences come to us merely as trials. They are morally neutral. It is how we respond to the trial that determines if that trial becomes a temptation.

  • The Hannah Montana Rage
So Miley Cyrus or Hannah Montana becomes the rage for 8-13 year old girls, as a pseudo-wholesome teen icon, even promoted by family-friendly Walmart. But what happens when the pop-cult machine exploits her and the millions of little girls that follow her with a fornicating, pornographic spread in Vanity Fair magazine? Just another Britney and Jamie Lynne in the making? And they are copied and will be copied by the vast majority of little girls. BTW, the Cyrus and the Speare families are good Christian families too. The fact of matter is our children will copy their role models. So Kevin Swanson challenges parents to identify the best role models for their children, and base it on Hebrews 11! What great works for righteousness has Hannah Montana accomplished? Has she laid down her life for the cause of life, liberty, and the kingdom of Christ? Or is she just the latest big star produced by the big star machine, because she was able to capture the latest standard of what's cool?

  • Do Not Fret Because of Evil Doers
We are told that more Christians were martyred in the 20th century than in all previous centuries combined. The persecution of Christians continues unabated in the 21st century, with reportedly over 50,000 Christians martyred in 2005, and thousands more imprisoned or tortured. Those who persecute the Godly often persist in their evil without any signs of repentance, or any evidence of pangs of conscience. And one of the things that troubles some believers is that those involved in wickedness seem to prosper---whether they are persecutors of Christians, wealthy pornographers, unscrupulous executives, profane entertainers, high-living drug dealers, lawbreaking lawmakers, or religious hucksters. Wickedness seems to be a prosperous lifestyle, and those Christians who are endeavoring to live righteously can be tempted to be frustrated or angry when they see the wicked getting away with their wickedness. Psalm 37 confronts that temptation head on, primarily by contrasting the end of the ungodly with the end of the righteous. If you believe God, you will not fret when evil men prosper. You are not pleased with their prosperity, you would rather see the righteous advanced, but on reflection, you will not begrudge the wicked their moment in the sun. Far from envying them, you will pity them, pray for their conversion, and rest in the truth that you will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
