  • Home schooling - the German front
When do you do when your children are forced into public schools for indoctrination in statism, not to exclude a pornographic sex-ed program for 8 year olds? What would a parent do who loves his child? Here is a story about faith, love and courage. Kevin Swanson interviews Attorney Christopher Klicka who has been to Germany on the front lines of the conflict of worldviews.

  • A Sanctified Life
1 Thessalonians 4 is a chapter regarding sanctification and in these verses Paul is at pains to remind the Christians that though they were in Thessalonica, they were no longer of it. He wanted them to live not as Thessalonians but as Christians. He wanted them to see that God’s purpose for them was to live a holy life! This is a vital subject for Christians today. Let’s face it: we are in the midst of a perverse and wicked and evil minded world. This is a day of explicit images and filth…. an age of open fornication – interesting to note that the word translated fornication in v. 3 is the Greek word porneo – it gives us the English word pornographic – our nation is awash with that kind of thing….. These are evil days. Men are lovers of pleasure and lovers of themselves more than lovers of God. There is a rush to push back the boundaries of decency and morality. It is a day where anything goes and the liberal lobby are quick to promote all kinds of sin. It doesn’t matter what God’s law states – every man wants to do that which is right in his own eyes and consequently, society runs into the vilest of immoral filth, and few if any say anything about it. This nation is a modern Sodom – a modern Thessalonica – and sadly even Christians can become tainted and affected and conditioned by it. This message, one in a series of messages on Thessalonians deals with the important subject of sanctification.

  • Matthew - The Man Jesus Saw
Matthew was a tax collector. He was a sinner. He systematically and regularly and in order to feed his own desires broke the law of God. He coveted. He lied. He stole. He was an outcast who found company in the presence of other tax collectors and those who fit in with them, i.e. prostitutes, robbers, murders, riff raff. And when men saw Matthew sitting at his custom booth along shores of the sea of Galilee what they saw was a sinner. They would have seen him and said, “There is a tax collector.” Like you may say, “There is a prostitute” or “there is a pornographer” or there is a “thief.” Yet what men see is not usually what God sees. We are told that our Lord 'saw the man Matthew.' And that is a good place to begin in our story of Jesus and Matthew. Today we consider not much about Matthew. Today we consider Jesus. 1st his unusual insight. 2nd his transforming power 3rd his calling 4th those he is called too/those he is attracted too

  • Beware of Counterfeits: The Mark of an Apostate
OUR SENSE OF PURITY HAS CHANGED. I hear people say they are 'mature enough' to handle nudity, pornographic innuendo, and violence in movies, on network TV, and on cable. The movies we used to boycott were like Sunday school picnics compared to what we now watch at home. WE PREACH LESS OF HEAVEN, HELL, and eternity and more of this life, happiness, and temporal success.
