CHAPTER 10 OF OUR PRESENTATION. THINKING IS AN ART. PART 5
In the story of Adam and Eve, when they decided to eat the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden, they disobeyed God's command, but also forfeited their ability and divine right to think and make decisions correctly.
This pivotal moment in history serves as a powerful symbol of the disruption that occurred in humanity's original alignment with divine wisdom and clarity, leading to a distorted thought process that has plagued mankind for centuries and continues to do so to this day.
It is of utmost importance to acknowledge and understand that most negative or criminal behaviors and societal issues, as we have previously discussed, are rooted in flawed patterns of thinking passed down from the fall of the first man.
When children are raised in an environment that promotes self-centeredness and entitlement, without being taught the values of selflessness, compassion, and consideration for others, they are at a higher risk of growing into adults with dysfunctional behavioral patterns.
This is evident in the current state of leadership and government, where individuals prioritize their own interests over the well-being of others.
To properly educate and cultivate a child's thought process, it is essential to guide them towards developing qualities such as compassion, respect for others, and accountability and responsibility for their actions and decisions. The beliefs and thought patterns that shape an individual’s character and destiny are often formed in childhood.
The concept of "right thinking" is not something that comes naturally to us. It requires consistent effort and care in order to be developed and maintain such discipline. Therefore, one of the most effective ways to curb wrong behavior and crime in society is to teach people, especially the younger generation, how to think differently.
By instilling a proper thinking system in children from an early age, we can raise a generation of respectful, responsible, and productive leaders who will positively impact society. It is an indisputable fact that any alteration in our external circumstances or behaviors is unattainable, without first making a conscious effort to transform our internal mindsets.
We simply do not change until our thought lifestyle is transformed for good. It is crucial to recognize that the thoughts you consistently entertain and consume, whether positive or negative, will ultimately dictate your actions and shape your very being over time.
If you continuously let thoughts of hate, pride, violence, and anger consume your mind and take control, that is what you will ultimately become and manifest in your actions and behaviors.
And if you give room to love, peace, faith, hope, forgiveness, success, and possibilities, that’s what you will achieve through your thought. Your mind, like your body, is nourished by what you feed it.
Consequently, it is essential to be cautious and aware of what you permit to enter and settle in your subconscious. Just as the food affects your physical health, the thoughts significantly shape your mental and spiritual wellness you nurture and entertain.
It is not an overstatement to stress the critical importance of being vigilant about what you allow into your mind through your eyes and ears. These sensory organs are not just physical extensions; they serve as gateways to your mind, the entry points for information, and influences that shape your inner world.
