Sir Ivan Rogers was the UK Permanent Representative to the EU (November 2013 – January 2017). In Part 2 of our conversation he reflects on the Brexit process after the referendum. After leaving government, he made a number of widely acclaimed public speeches in which he gave a forensic analysis of the difficulties of the Brexit process and the hard choices facing Brexit Britain. His Liverpool speech was published as the book, 9 Lessons in Brexit.

Sir Ivan Rogers was the UK Permanent Representative to the EU (November 2013 – January 2017). In Part 1 of our conversation he reflects on his experience as a central figure in the pre-Brexit negotiations between the UK and the EU.
