The first GREAT movie of 2020 has shown itself and it is glorious.  Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen is a return to form- back to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and  Snatch (2000).  It's quite the fun and tangled web Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Huge Grant and Colin Farrell weave with some colorful language mixed in.  WE LOVED IT.  We didn't so much like the Turning and we're guessing you didn't either.  What happened?  Tune in, find out.

"We ride together, we die together.  Bad boys for Life."  It's a good week!  We take a look at a sequel 17 years later and spoilers- we liked it!  A solid film by NOT Michael Bay.  What happened to Dolittle.  RDJ just wasn't enough.  With a huge budget and little return, doom tells that tale.  And finally, we take a look at The King (Netflix) with Timothee Chalamet.  We liked that one too.

Another new year has come to pass and with it, another awards season for film and television.  Settle in this week as we get into some movie talk-  The Grudge (still angry.  Who knew?) has found it's way to the states- Pennsylvania in fact.  We also get into the long awaited and very much anticipated 3.5 hour film from Martin Scorsese, The Irishman (Netflix) and then a recap of the Golden Globe Awards.  Oscars are close on those heels.

Let's face it- Playmobile: The Movie leaves quite a bit to be desired.  So, we checked out Dark Waters and Jojo Rabbit this week as well, which we loved.  And the Mandalorian protects a small village from raiders with an AT-ST Walker.  Yikes.
